Hague denies prosecutor made Op Storm comments

A Hague Tribunal official has denied that Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz stated Croatia's 1995 attack on Serb areas of that country was legitimate.

As an attack on a state not recognised by the UN, it would of been legitimate had the plan not been to expel thousands of ethnic Serbs, which delegitimised it. You dont need to be a legal expert to work that out.

This Zagreb newspaper seems to be a worthy successor of famous Radio Yerevan: 'Is it true that Brammertz said during a conference in Londo that operation Storm was legitimate'? 'In principle, yes. But the conference wasn't in London, but in Brussels, and he didn't talk about operation Storm nor he said it was legitimate, but instead commented on Gotovina being held responisible for the crimes he committed or ordered.
