@Peggy

Anyone who argues that it's correct to kill teenagers because they MIGHT have been soldiers has either completely lost their moral centre or never had one to begin with.

Thank you for that Peggy. "Top"/bganon are just happy to parrot the aggression pact NATO and the serbophobe corporate press, dont expect any fact´s from team Otpor.

"When I say perpetrators, I mean every one of them, regardless of whether they are Serbs, Croatia, Albanians, Bosniaks, or any other nationality," Tadić concluded.

With phrases like this, Tadic has been trying to muddy the waters of what really happen in the former Yugoslavia. Every Serbian government since 2001 has been trying to create the impression that "we are all guilty" & I must say they have been partly successful. But the real history cannot change and its already been written all over the place.

Tadic: I ask you to solve a sort of mathematical problem. What is the common denominator of the following: war in Croatia, war in Bosnia and war in Kosovo? You care to take a stab at this "mathematical" problem?
I will give you a hint: It's an ethic group that is very near and deal to you.

MikeC, you mean just like serbs do not accept the chetniks being allies of the nazis during WW2 and the atrocities they commited? Serbs still lie and say they were the resistance when it was only the partizans who resisted. You rewrite history then and are rewriting it now with the sacrifice of two Croatian generals who were convited with no evidence.

Which history books are you reading? Albanian or Croatian? Chetniks were the first resistance against the Nazis. Partizans came later on. Who do you think ruled Yugoslavia as the war broke out? Tito or the king?

How do you think your two heroes were convicted without any evidence?

Peggy

That might be true for Tadic and a lot of other people. Unfortunathely, there are still enough Serbs who don't accept the truth and responsibility for the wars in ex-YU, who prefer to blame others and consider Mladic, Karadzic et. al. as heroes.

You are so wrong here so don't presume to speak on behalf of Serbs. We do accept that crimes were committed in our name. I think you will find it hard to find a Serb who think that no crimes were committed by Serbs. If you know of any please do post a link to any of their speeches saying so.
On the other hand you cannot call Karadzic or Mladic criminals just because some others call them that. Do you know exactly what happened even in Srebrenica before Mladic intervened? I happen to think that he did what he had to do in order to save the Serbs around that area from Oric who openly admitted to crimes and has not been tried for them. To me that sounds like discrimination and I will not call Mladic a criminal until all the fact are out there. Who exactly was killed in Srebrenica. There is footage of Mladic allowing women and children to get out and even made sure they got onto buses to get out of Srebrenica. The ones killed were males who fought. Sure, if the Muslims accepted boys to fight then they too are treated as fighters. All the reports say that so many (numbers vary) men and boys were killed but they don't say if those "boys" were active in fighting as well and active in killing Serbs around the area.

Until we know all please don't say that Serbs don't accept that crimes were committed by Serbs because we do but where we do not agree is which crimes and where.

Well I don't know of any Jasenovac type chetnik camp. If you do then pleas enlighten us. However, it is a fact that croats exerminated 700.000 serbs. Its a fact that bosnajks and albanians both sided with Hitler germany. You live in denial.

And you are saying that the other peoples in former Yug don't blame Serbs and eachother and consider Tudjman, Gotovina, Thaci, Ramush Haradinaj, Naser Oric etc etc to be heroes? Croats and albanians still today deny their nazi past. You are a hypocrite with a capital H.
I know what some Serbs did during the wars but the question is wether you and other trolls here know, or even want to know, what evils your own people have done?

As a society, Serbia slowly but surely went through its own catharsis, he said. "We accepted that the truth is the only cure for everything that happened, and that punishing the perpetrators is the minimum we owe to the victims and their families, but to our shared future as well. When I say perpetrators, I mean every one of them, regardless of whether they are Serbs, Croatia, Albanians, Bosniaks, or any other nationality," Tadic concluded.
