You must be as delusional as he is! 1st he is not going to die, the most that will happen is that when he vacations this summer he will not have the belly bulge hanging over his swimsuit! 2nd I do not see any support for him even with the hardliners that post here. His political future is for the most part over.

I think that Nikolic's PR man should be fired on the spot. It is obvious that this whole thing is nothing short of a stunt. Evil Knievel also did stunts but they were damn good ones!!! Two other people come to mind when one thinks of hunger strikes, Mahatma Gandhi and Bobby Sands! Mahatma had a massive and popular following (oops) and was on a hunger strike to protest against the thousands of Hindu and Muslim deaths. I don't think the emotion of "early elections" is going to swing it for poor old Tommy! Bobby Sands was an IRA terrorist who did actually die from hunger strike. After his death nobody actually cared two hoots about a cold blooded killer killing himself. Please don't worry folks - Tommy won't die. His PR man might but Tommy is just too ambitious to let Mr. Death get in the way just now.

Unless I've missed something, the streets of Belgrade don't seem to be full of supporters either begging him to eat or demanding Tadic calls early elections to save him.

This Nikolic farce is an embarrassment to Serbia. Can anyone recall any politician in the western world ever pulling such an idiotic media stunt as this fool. I am ashamed to be a Serb, in the eyes of the free world, at times.
