but what has the US traded with the Russians and Chinese for Resolution 1974? If I was an Albanian in Kosovo I’d be very worried.

Dude, US has not traded with the Russians for much more important things than 1974…

Nothing needed to be traded with Russia. Russia itself wanted to be on the right side of the history and, what's even better, for free (the expense is being made by the Europeans and US). With the Arab world and Libyans asking for 1974 to be passed, why would Russia veto it ?! To get the blame in the Arab world for the hundreds or thousands that would have been slaughtered by Gaddafi in Benghazi ?

Mr. Lavrov reminds of Yeltsin era.
I can't beleive that Zoran and Highduke are so happy about it. If that is what makes you guys happy, so be it, but I suggest you wake up and smell the American coffee.

Actually, it's Brazillian or Columbian coffee not American. Eather one is ok by us.

Coffee for Americans is brewing in Libya. Bring on the body bags, but what has the US traded with the Russians and Chinese for Resolution 1974? If I was an Albanian in Kosovo I’d be very worried.

'' Take it to the UN General Assembly where the us has no veto. Given the world situation today where a majority of the world's countries hate the us, it will easily pass. ''

I would not put money on that.

''And when nothing gets done, Serbia can re-submit their UDI condemnation at the following UNGA where it will pass without amendment.
(JohnBoy, 19 April 2011 19:30) ''

UDI issue was alredy settled last summer...

Excellent news! Lets get this through the UNSC and see who, if any, object to it.
(Zoran, 19 April 2011 15:37)

Yes do it, but first ask Marty how he feels after answering the EP a month ago. Serbs you think you are outsmarting everybody but you are just lying to yourselves.

What a waste of effort. Everybody knows the us will veto it to protect their drug dealers. Take it to the UN General Assembly where the us has no veto. Given the world situation today where a majority of the world's countries hate the us, it will easily pass. And when nothing gets done, Serbia can re-submit their UDI condemnation at the following UNGA where it will pass without amendment.

That's a message to the KiM Albanians to continue re-integration talks and turn themselves into credible politicians, rather than narco-warlords.
