He is in even better place - socializing with Huitzhuitl, Acampichitli and most importantly, with Quetzalcoatl (Pigeon-Snake) worshippers who feed on human organs.

Others like not-anymore-Hungarian-but-not-yet-American SS-Sieg-Heil fanboyz from New York are missed dearly, too (NOT!)

I agree with Jovan: this won't make Hague court less kangaroo. The generals should be tried AND SENTENCED at home. Who should be tried in Hague are Clinton & Co. And Albanians - because there is no law even in superficial form in the territory they hold under their quasi-control.

What are they crying about? Twenty-four years is nothing for murdering people - they should be hanged. At least, the HAG gave them a trial and sentenced them instead of imprisoning them for decades and killing them slowly each day until they die in prison without a conclusion to their trail because there was no evidence. That is the way the HAG tries Serbs.

Jovan,
I wholeheartedly agree with you that the ICTY is nothing more than a political machine and the bastard child of misreading the UN Charter. I have taken a few international criminal law classes; the information I have pored over justifies the objections of Serbs to this Court. You have to really go and read the ICTY's Charter to see that its existence is based on very, very, very shaky legal grounding (as are the many judgments that the court hands out; Srebrenica cases are a glaring example).
While I do not believe in the ICTY's legitimacy at all, that does not stop me from reveling when the enemies of a quarter million Serbs that were cleansed from Krajina, along with the victims who were brutally murdered by those cowards, are pronounced guilty and sentenced to what adds up to be almost life sentences. The illegality of the Court may be true, but if there is going to be a court that pronounces many more times Serbs as guilty, then I will be ecstatic when some Tudjmanite fools get a taste of what Krstic, Galic, Krajisnik, Martic, D. Milosevic, et al. received.

Croatian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights President Žarko Puhovski told B92 that the Croatian citizens were in shock.

Of course they are in shock. They have been celebrating these war crimes year upon year. Lets see what they do this year.

Daniel that is a fair point.
The US encouraged Croatia, armed and trained them and have now hung them out to dry.

Yes, Gotovina is guilty of war crimes but in reality he is a small fry. The political leadership sent him out there in collaboration with the US and key European allies such as Germany.

The only reason that there is a big Croatian population is because of all of the Serbs who moved to Krajina hundreds of years ago to guard against the Ottomans. I believe in a 'Republic of Krajina'... or perhaps I should just change the last letter and get backing from the U.N... 'Krajino'.

no, Karanovic, and my other fellow Serbs, the Hague has not made something finally right.

given that this socalled court" has no real justification, sentencing some Croats here is just a move to act as if this "court" is working on the basis of justice and law.

since this kangaroo-court has not legitimation to judge Serbs,Croats or whatosever nationals, there is no reason to be happy about this "verdict".

it´s all nothing but a "show". this time only it was some Croats who were "sentenced", that´s all. the "institution" that is playing around here, has no justification and therefore, there is nothing to cheer about. except you accept "the Hague" as a tribunal against the southern slav nations. but I do accept them in any way as a "court". it´s only a political institution, nothing more.

please keep that in mind.

The funny thing is that the most important criminals never get punished, like those who stoked the war and provided logistics, including American military consultants. Why aren't they going to jail too?

Lazar

pre 13 godina

Heh, finally a small reality check. It's not a lot, if we consider all the crimes they did to serbs in the 1940s and 1990s. Lets get the rest of the gang.
Sadly the population reflects the nazi intonations, via their support for this criminal gang.
