Oh how i love it when these €Urocrats speaks about "democracy" in one way or another.

Please B92, dont get me wrong. If you cant vote for an imposed "president" like Rompouy and when you (if you get a chance)must vote again and again until the "right" result is reached and when these "leaders" slaughter & occupie peoples in the middle east and elsewhere, what shall we call it? "Democracy" don´t really comes to mind. Fascists does. We hate these Fash*ist, whatever they call themselves, as much today as we did 60 years ago. You should too.

RS is not a country and is by far democratic. It is an ugly creature that came to life after the most brutal ethnic cleansing that happened in Europe since WWII.

Mark, your comment was off-topic, but entertaining for me and my fellow RS supporters. You confirmed that RS is "by far democratic", thank you! I would agree as RS actually functions in pale contrast to FBiH which contains not one, not two, not three, but ELEVEN "state" governments (10 cantonal, one at the Federation level). RS also correctly and proportionally represents its people by population percentages, despite the grayness inherent in such a count as the last census was in 1991! FBiH gets to send two of its own to the State Presidency, one Croat and one Muslim. Well, it did that by sending Zeljko Komsic and Bakir Izetbegovic, but the problem is that Komsic was not the choice of the vast majority of Croats because he is not in the HDZ and is instead a Croat pawn in a majority Muslim party. And we all know that the Croat patience with its Washington Agreement "partners" is increasingly strained by stunts such as this. Croats want their own entity so they can represent themselves appropriately, something they cannot do under the immense weight of the greater Muslim population.

And now, on to your ethnic cleansing claim: I have to say "so what?" That was the only option as the Muslims and Croats wanted to illegally (yes, see the YU Constitution about secession, especially Robert M. Hayden's book on the subject) leave YU and take the Serbs with them because of their combined numerical superiority in a secession referendum which was conducted when the Serb representatives in the SFR Bosnian Assembly had already left. This is not the way to try to get people to go to your side, but this was coldly calculated (another story). The Serbs protected their national and ethnic interests, just as the Croats and Muslims did. The only problem is that we Serbs had the army on our side as guarantors of constitutionality, and when the JNA voluntarily left Bosnia even after massacres of its troops by double-speaking Muslim leaders like Izetbegovic and Ganic, along with the traitor Jovan Divjak, the army's weapons and many of it members joined the new RS army. It is all about defense against the aggressive and illegal actions perpetrated by the secessionists.

The E.U. is against a country that's trying to make their own democratic decisions? Say it isn't so. I just don't believe it! :-) More of this garbage to come if we all enter into the E.U. (Endless Undermining).

""Such unilateral steps are not bringing solutions for the country to move forward. Only mutually agreed reforms provide for much wanted and needed progress," Ashton pointed out.
"

these eurocrats sometimes really make me feel sympathy with them. she must feel very dumb while she says something like that, knowing that unilateral steps, in the case of the illegal k-albanian joke-declaration were suddenly and immediately "recognized".

poor Mrs.Ashton, she has to stand in front of all those presstitutes and represent something like that utter nonsense.
