Let’s look at the deficit for 2011 - $1.6 trillion and the Republicans want to cut $90 to $100 billion. This is like filling a barrel with water then using a shot glass to remove some and then claiming a great victory in reducing the budget deficit. The deficit for 2012 will be $1.2 trillion bringing the total to over $17 trillion – that’s the official version but it’s worse than that because it’s much higher as a lot of the moneys borrowed is hidden in government agencies and not counted as debt.
Investors are leaving the dollar in droves and that the US is much closer to a dictatorship than anyone might think. The legislation and is already in place.

What makes you think you are indispensable to my happiness? Talk about thick-skinned presumptuousness!

The whole budget discussion was a big con on the US electorate.
Congress kept arguing about how to arrange the deck chairs on the
Titanic , how to cut a few billion dollars off the deficit ,while allowing almost $1.6 trillion in additional deficits to pile up over this year alone. One would argue that those $27billion announced cuts are tantamount to fiddling while Rome burns.

As long as the US Federal Reserve continues to sing with its fiat dollars to finance those deficits the US will continue to trade but not for very long.Investors are quitting the US bond markets in droves by dumping their dollar holdings.

US debts and future liabilities are simply unpayble.Next developments could either lead the country to bankruptsy or dictatorship. We could even see more wars in the Middle East or Asia.
