"I just want to remind everyone that, on October 1, 1991 Dubrovnik was attacked by JNA and lasted for seven months, damaging 56% of its buildings to some degree, as the historic walled city, a UNESCO world heritage site.
(D. Milisic, 7 April 2011 21:21)"

You do not have to expect an apology from Serbia because the ones mainly responsible already apologized (or were the Serbs guilty anyway because they are Serbs?).

"On my own behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of Montenegro I want to apologise to all citizens of Croatia, particularly in Konavli and Dubrovnik for all the pain and material damage inflicted by any member of the Montenegrin people," President Djukanovic told his Croatian counterpart."

I am still confused about one thing (about many things, but I will focus on this one). "After the war, the ICTY accused the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia leadership for the crimes against humanity and other war crimes during the war, including the destruction of the Stari Most bridge."

So destroying the Stari Most bridge is a war crime and damaging 56% of Dubrovnik is not? And if it is a war crime, how come Djukanovic got away with it by simply apologizing? Fortunately we all know the answers to that million dollar question.

Since we are on the topic of WWII, I would like to remind everyone that between August 1941 and April 1945, hundreds of thousands of mainly Serbs but also Jews and Gypsies were killed in Jasenovac by Croatians in an act of Genocide. Jasenovac was the largest extermination camp in the Balkans and among the largest that Europe has ever seen. No apology has yet been made by any Croatian leader.

Now going back to more recent times, President Tadic of Serbia has apologised for war crimes committed by Serbs during the 1991-1995 war in Croatia. However, no Croatian leader has yet apologised for crimes committed against Serbians by Croatian forces.

that was a deliberate cultural genocide. and no apologies will bring those historical treasures back.

Mr.Maas, there is only one thing you can actually do, stop supporting this tumour on serbian territory. revoke your socalled "recognition" for this stillborn freak creation and better try to understand why some of your greatest like Goethe, the Brothers Grimm and others have learned serbian, and wanted to build brigdes between the Serbs and Germans.

but this kind of action is simple eye-candy for the camera´s.

it won´t work, Mr.Maas.
(Jovan, 7 April 2011 12:38) Interesting is it not that same thing that Serbia and Serbs did to the country of Bosnia its capital city Sarajevo its national library and killed even more people. Brought more destruction and wickedness such not seen since WW 2 this happened so recently in the 1990s and talk of a tumour of "Srpska" aka Grater Serbia how can the Serbs be so blind tragedy all around pity.

According to official records, the attack which started in the early morning of April 6 killed 2,274 Belgraders, completely destroying 714 buildings, while 1,188 were severely and 6,826 partially damaged.
--
So no apology for the thousands killed, destroyed buildings and infrastructure? Only an apology for destroying the library, which they probably regret as they couldn't loot it afterwards. Pathetic really.

We have to remember it was Russia that saved Serbia yet again at a huge cost in lives both to them and us.

Danke schoen and now you can start paying reperations for both NAZI bombings the one in the 40s & the 90s. What about WW1 when you holocausted 37% of our male populations? You cant apologize to the dead & unborn! How about an apology for holocausting 80 000 000 Slavs in the last 1000 years on behalf of your Vatican pope masters?
