1. Just because the ICTY has initiated an investigation into claims made by Seselj, does not lend any credibility to the claims. He made a complaint and they are going to look into it, in most probability to make sure when they render a guilty verdict they can refute his claims of an unfair trial.
2. Since NATO alliance countries cover 75%+ of the UN budget and more than 80% of special projects of the UN, they will have an influence on any court set up by the UN. So if you are looking for a panel free from NATO influence better look on another planet.
3. China also has a judge on the ICTY.
4. It is unfortunate that you feel the ICTY is unfairly biased against Serbs and that a disproportionate number of Serbs have been prosecuted but Serbia was the agressor in the Yugoslavian wars and that is typical. I realize as a Serb you feel that Serbia was innocent but the facts do not bare out your views.
5. It is even more doubtful that Marty will be involved in any investigation due to the fact that at the recent EC meeting he turned on the panel and they are frustrated because he is refusing to aid any investigation.
6. Again I reiterate that both you and Marty feel that any investigation that includes Albanians cannot be trusted but it would be impossible to have any kind of investigation without Albanian or Serbian translators.

it is Serbia that is shooting down every available option, why is it Serbia does not want this investigation to actually take place? Because the road leads to all evidence is in the minds of Serb nationalists.

Sorry pss, it is not Serbia shooting down the options, it is Marty who won't reveal his witnesses to a group of vultures. We all know what has happened to witnesses from KiM prepared to testify against ethnic Albanians. We know the practices of the NATO court in the Hague and we know the US has a separate office within that court pulling strings to help its own agenda.

Here is some further information: http://jurist.org/paperchase/2010/08/icty-orders-independent-investigation-of-witness-intimidation-at-seselj-trial.php
==
According to statements sent to the court by Seselj, witnesses claimed that they were subject to sleep deprivation, pressured during interviews, blackmailed, threatened and offered illegal payments of money, and that their statements were not read before being signed. Chartier stated that the decision, not immediately publicized, was not made at the request of the defense, but was initiated by the court in June after alarming complaints by witnesses of intimidation.
==
Let me repeat, it was "initiated by the court in June after alarming complaints by witnesses of intimidation." You see, these type of complaints came up in lots of cases, Milosevic included. Witnesses were "subject to sleep deprivation, pressured during interviews, blackmailed, threatened and offered illegal payments of money, and that their statements were not read before being signed."

If you have followed the cases in the NATO court, this was common practice when the accused was Serbian. However, I didn't read a case where this happened to non-Serbians but then witnesses happened to be found dead in some cases. That US office in the Hague must have been very busy I think.

It is time for this farce to be closed and yes, it is time to have a new team ready to investigate the truth. Personally, I would prefer Marty to lead this case and for Del Ponte to stay on the sidelines.

Del Ponte explained, adding that Albania has refused to cooperate with the Hague Tribubal and that the court officials also met with difficulties in Kosovo.
--
And there we have it again. EULEX covers Kosovo only while the ICTY covers the former Yugoslavia. None can investigate within Albania (or Turkey) without permission and it seems that permission is lacking. The ICTY is shutting shop while remaining cases are being transferred to local courts.

It is obvious that only the UNSC can authorise a competent authority to investigate this case but members such as the US, UK and France do not want their joint criminal enterprise with the Albanian mafia revealed. They are doing what they can to block this investigation and the joint criminal enterprise continues.
(Zoran, 7 April 2011 09:57)
EULEX mandate can be extended and Albania has agreed to cooperate, ICTY can investigate as they did before, when Carla was in charge. UNMIK could but they have reduced manpower to nil and turned over justice and police to EULEX.
All have the resources and minor tweeking can bring this investigation under their umbrella. To set up a whole new program would be enormously expensive and improbable to create the "witness protection" that EULEX and Hague both have in operation now. As Marty has said the possible number are in the 10's not 100's as Serbia has claimed.
del Ponte wants the job because an investigation that comes back saying there is no evidence would pretty much send her credibility to the toilet along with Marty. However if she were at the helm they could both do as now and claim the evidence is there but due to witness intimidation, destruction of evidence, etc, etc. it can never be brought to trial. And then publish a new book.
But I would say that the chances of her being asked to lead a new investigation are about the same as Thaci becoming Prime Minister of Serbia.

There is no witness protect system in "Kosova" and EULEX has quite a few ethnic Albanian employees so attempting to keep something secret is as waterproof as a pot hit by a shotgun.

The ICTY is closing shop because of the expense. If you do some calculations it has cost almost $100 million per Serbian conviction so this has been a very expensive exercise for the NATO countries at the forefront of its funding. Also, the impartiality of this court has been questioned many times.

The only logical solution is to create a new authority loyal to truth and justice with a proper witness protection system in place. Marty has the witnesses but the whole process is obviously being blocked. We all know who the blockers are right? I'm not surprised as the joint criminal enterprise has much to hide.
(Zoran, 7 April 2011 16:40)
Eulex does have a witness protection system in place, this I know as fact. What kind of investigation do you think you are going to have without Albanian translators?? So if you plan to leave anyone Albanian out of the loop why not do what Marty did sit in an office and create the whole story.
How many times did Marty travel to Kosovo or Albania to conduct interviews??
Just because Marty's report said that Serbia's witness protection unit was run by the very people that were being investigated, does not mean that everyone else is the same.
The surprising thing here is She also says the Hague does not have the jurisdiction to investigate, however, in her book she did investigate and supposedly was "blocked" from proceeding. She never mentioned that she did not have the authority then to investigate, maybe this statement is because she knows she has 0% chance of returning to the Hague, you think?
You say the ICTY is clsoing because of expense, how much do you think it will cost to create a whole new entity, a lot more than using one of the systems in place. You would have to set up a team with prosecutors, your "witness protection" system, a new court to hear the cases, years of investigation and years of litigation if it went that far, and remember we are talking international and not dealing with Serbian dinar here, these people will need to be paid a bit more than 200 euro a month.
However the fear here is with the continuation of the Hague mandate they will not be limited to targeting only Albanians, right!
All you ever say is that the UN administered court is a NATO court and it only targets Serbs, but you want the same people the UN to set up a totally new system??? Makes no sense at all. Only hype to keep it in the news as you know it will never go any where.
Notice it is not the west, Kosovo or Albania blocking an investigation, it is Serbia that is shooting down every available option, why is it Serbia does not want this investigation to actually take place? Because the road leads to all evidence is in the minds of Serb nationalists.

I am sorry that you feel that way about Carla. Especially because Carla looks to be of Albanian ehtnicity.

Anyways, doesn't your local mosque teach Albanians about human differences and most of all tolerance.

Or did you only attend the lessons on terrorism?

Hopefully some elements of justice still remain within world courts, and the truth will be brought to light in this dirty affair in the Balkans, i.e., the west's intervention in Kosovo, and their "look the other way" policy, when war crimes were being committed by the factions they supported.

All have the resources and minor tweeking can bring this investigation under their umbrella. To set up a whole new program would be enormously expensive and improbable to create the "witness protection" that EULEX and Hague both have in operation now.

Of course she is lying but we all know Albanians were protected and if anything her conscience has come back to haunt her. She didn't investigate NATO crimes due to political pressure and she didn't investigate Albanian crimes due to threats from the mafia.

If she did everything she could then NATO leaders along with K-Albanian terrorists would be locked away a long time ago.

So, is she saying that the EU has no organ(S) to investigate other missing organs, or maybe that the EU does in fact have an organ but which is flaccid and is deliberately being denied reinforcement with the aid of blue, diamond shaped pills?

==
==
