Ex-French FM dismisses Kosovo organ trade claims

Just do a Google search with the term 'Bernard Kouchner Albanian'. This man should be strung up in the Hague! I've also heard that he has quite strong ties to Albanians, even possibly related. I don't see why anyone who is truly innocent would protest so much. I understand that Kouchner is pretty much a criminal who travelled the world to impoverished countries setting up medical resources for his friends businesses to prosper, but this is just one item in particular that he's against the most. If Mladic's wife can be on trial, this man should have been locked up a long time ago.

Kouchner is a paid Serbophobe who believes in not condemning anti-Serb pogroms, illegal wars against Serbs or investigating crimes against us either, so what he says he believes is more likely a lie. I'm sure he believes that Albanians arent flooding his EU with drugs, guns & prostitutes either.

"I have read that report carefully and I expect an investigation, so that the wrong impression can be removed along with the bitter taste of that affair," he was quoted as saying.

Still waiting for an investigation. If there is nothing to hide then why so much resistance for an international investigation to start? These people are calling for an investigation in public but are doing everything they can to block it in private.

I think people would do better then to listen to someone who runs a death camp in Kosovo, Kouchner should be in prison.

Kouchner also denounced in 2005 dick Marty's reports about CIA secret prisons. Something the U.S. admitted to in 2006.

Kouchner has a direct personal interest in denouncing Marty. It would lead to questions about his role in Kosovo and an organization he founded Doctors Without Borders having trained people who later were involved in organ smuggling.

It might also raise question about controversial things his organization did in the past. Such as actively intervening in Haiti against Aristide.

No one is blocking an investigation, Eulex has undertaken the task. That is the only entity that has both authority and resources to undertake the investigation other than the Hague which would require an extension of its mandate. Serbia does not seem interested in that avenue.

Regarding Dick Marty's report where the main accused person is Hashim Thaci she states that "No no, I haven't mentioned in my book Hashim Thaci and I am not implicating him in this organ trafficing. If there is someone who has mentioned Hashim Thaci's name this is Dick Marty..."

How BAD that can be? And these guys think can not be punished because of their immunity....

Of course he would deny it as he presided over the time it was taking place. It's a fact that several hundreds of Serbs and Roma were kidnapped while he was in charge and that most of them haven't been found. There were kidnapped Serbs being held in camps according to a Muslim Helsinki representative from Sandzak, Serbia. His people were able to use illegal channels to see and talk to these Serbs held in basements of restaurants and other hidden places, yet in populated areas. He noted they were suddenly being treated better and thought at the time they were being prepared for an exchange. THERE NEVER WAS AN EXCHANGE. So these people have either been killed or they are still imprisoned (more unlikely 10 years later).
Methinks they were being preserved and unbeaten so their kidneys would be in decent shape.

I saw that former interview online, and.., to be honest, usaually I am a sceptic about allegations of this kind.

but Kouchners reaction was so suspicious that I thought there might be something to it.

and Mr.Marty has already shown before that he is no clown in that regard. so, I am quite eager to see what a real investigation will bring up.

so far, I don´t believe Mr.Marty would bring up allegations like these, if there were not some really substantial evidence. he knows he would make himself a fool if he did so, and personally I don´t think he would do it so easily.

let´s just see what future brings.

I doubt that you and other like minded individuals will never be satisfied with anything other than a Serbo-Russian investigating team and that will never happen.

It is totally illogical to set up a court to hear all war crimes for Yugoslavia and then say but we want a special court for this one investigation.

Not for Hague but not for the reasons you stated. Hague destroyed evidence and tried to dismiss the whole thing so they would not suitable to investigate anything now. I doubt they would even prosecute adequately anyone beside Serbs.

There is nothing to be proved, and unlikely that will ever anything be proved. Some people have problems in distinguishing between "allegation" with "evidence". If there is evidence the process proceed fast and smooth, ON THE CONTRARY a party may look for ways to invent some 'truth' at any cost.

Very likely that the latter is case, especially since nothing has moved for nearly 5 months.

With Marty's "evidence" even in 5 years time we will still be in this wondering stage as we are today.

In 50 years time this "wondering stage" will start to become a myth...
