A Reader, please note the past tense took. You like others have a problem separating the past from the present. The key here is Kosovo is lost to Serbia forever!

Finally the truth is spoken: Kosova was a big part of Serbia!
No more, and no more ever will be part of Serbia.

I believe Serbia is at crossroads with recognizing Kosovo. Belgrade senses more than ever that no other solution but unconditional recognition is the key to get out from self imposed isolation.

From a Western perspective, Serbia besides recognition it also need to fully comply with Hague Tribunal. Serbia has regional reputation of being a destructive player in the past especially in the 1990s and now the time is right for Belgrade to show with visible signs that its aim is to become a constrictive player for the whole region and further.

I guess the West would reward if Serbia act constructively.

Bogdanov do you know that Serbia cannot get EU membership without recognizing Kosovo?

The dialoug will lead to recognition because only that way it will lead to regional stability. Nobody can enter EU without having good neighbourly relations and both serbs and albanians knows that.

One thing we also know very well is that Kosovo will never belong to Serbia. By this time I guess even the serbs feel the real reality.

There was nothing in the Serbia-EU resolution in the UN GA which called for the UN to mediate the dialogue. So why all of a sudden is Bogdanovic calling for the UN to be there? Borko Stefanovic said that the EU was very neutral and helpful as a mediator, so what is the problem?

Albanians must obey UN law or suffer consequences.

And so do Serbians, a lesson you should have learned in 1999, I am not speaking of the bombing but that the UN took control of a big part of Serbia due to its violation of international laws, and you have lost it forever.
