It seems that the KLA have nothing better to do these days than harass and arrest Serb journalists operating in their little criminal fascist fiefdom now that EULEX is starting to clamp down on the criminal scams. In Thaci-land, you get harassed, arrested and beaten up for being a Serb, Roma, Ashkali, Bosniak (insert any other non Albanian ethnicity here...….. )

Wow, 'best democracy' in the world. What say of ye now?
(Niall O'Doherty, 5 April 2011 15:44)

No one is being harrased, but I cannot control your wild imagination. I would like to know if you from Dublin or Belfast, and that will make me understand your hatred towards Albanians.

"Milan,

he's not a criminal because x or y...he is labeled in my post a criminal because he broke a law intentionally. I try not to engage brute nationalism based on emotional values..if you have something to say that is of value holds normative value please do respond.

Thanks,

Koso,

The fact that I commented in a reasonable and descent manner, something that you probably cannot sense or understand, is already value enough for me to do it and nobody is going to stop me from doing it. Where did it say in the article that he intentionally broke a law? Right, nowhere. It says "under suspicion of being in possession of a forged traffic license". This is an opinion and as long as you are under some kind of suspision you are still not guilty, meaning he was innocent. The fact that he was released three ours later and not arrested means that eventually they had no case against him proving his innocence once again. I am afriad that EULEX will turn the other way or they are so overwhelmed by cases like this that by the time they get to it most people have already forgotten about it.

I'm glad Kosovo Police ROSU unit (SWAT) was able to apprehend this criminal. This one specific minority will learn that in Kosovo the majority rules. You are no better than an Albanian, Bosniak, Goran, Ashkali, Turk, and/or a Roma.

Thanks!!

...intruder in "their" territory?

well, they couldn´t be more wrong!

...give some poorly educated guy a gun and a uniform, and he will very likely try to play "police".

this will have an end. sooner or later.

Funny how these two sentences come one right after the other in this news:

Stolić said afterwards that he was mistreated because his car had license plates issued by Serbia.

"Our colleague Nikola Stolić was harassed for no reason, and with no explanation," said the UNS statement.

It seems to me that there was a reason AND an explanation.

Really one can debate over whether this ban on the plates is fair or not, but it is already a law and it is the duty of Kosovo police to implement it. The reporter knew into what he was getting, by using Serbian plates and did it anyway. It serve him right for wanting to have preferential treatment denied to other co-nationals of him.

This was certainly not an assault against the press, because it would have happened to anyone, The fact that he was on a journalist mission, does not change the situation. In my point of view he complicated his job by trying to make a political statement with his Serbian plate. From that moment he was not a reporter anymore, but a provocative political activist.

How is someone harrased when breaking the law? He was detained for 3 hours, big deal. Who does he think he is, if anything he should be happy they didnt break any bones wich they are notorious for. And btw there is no unit "Rosa", NJSO is their real name or ROSU whom the internatinals in Kosovo call.

I think you missed the part where they blocked his car in an "inappropriate and humiliating" manner.(Whatever that may be)
Maybe Jeremic should try to convene a special meeting at the UNSC.

Must be desperate for "hostile acts" by Albanians to print today.

This is great news. It shows that the Pristina controlled parts of Kosovo are even further away from joining the EU than ever. It's clear that Pristina has nothing in common with european values. Good work KAlbs, keep it up!

Koso,

So these days you can already be labeled a criminal if you drive in a car with a Serbian license plate? And why do you need a whole SWAT team to arrest one single person? Are they so incapable? You people have absolutely no more shame! You second phrase is also interesting for you Kosovo Albanians never figured out that you, as a 20% minority in Serbia, had to be ruled by the Serbs according to your own logic. Nobody is claiming that Serbs in KiM are better than anybody else. It is Kosovo Albanians like yourself who like to repeat this to make point and to cover up your insecurity. I thought that with the new look of the B92 website that B92 would impose a stricter policy to filter junk postings like yours, but apparently the chance was just cosmetic.

you must have come in purpose to provoke Kosova authorities with those B.S. plates issued by Serbia. First of all, you have not been mistreated , but according to Kosova traffic laws , those phony plates are invalid. Go and complain to your phantom "Minister" Bogi.
