Just a small correction. Only about 20 states have declared they don't recognize Kosovo. About 70+ have declared they do recognize Kosovo. The rest has not declared anything, unless, of course, you have proof to the contrary.

The geopolitical situation has moved quickly away from the Balkans and this US facility is obsolete, but it’s the US pride of being right that is keeping it there.
(sj, 1 April 2011 13:50)
Woow… We heard people for years in this forum stating how important that base was for US and it was their only reason to support Kosovo’s UDI and bla, bla, bla… Now it is obsolete :) !!!
Just like the US refuses to say that Afghanistan and Iraq were mistakes.
(sj, 1 April 2011 13:50)
Well, you first have to show that it was a mistake… I certainly wouldn’t consider a mistake (for US) moving the fighting theatre away from US to Afghanistan.
Bankruptcy is around the corner:
(sj, 1 April 2011 13:50)
Yeah, according to this forum has been so for years… This must be a very very long road as they still can’t get to that corner :)
Every time a missile is fired means the US has had to go to the bank to borrow more – so far its 7 billion and counting.
(sj, 1 April 2011 13:50)
Don’t forget also that every time a missile is fired, millions of dollars (and hundreds if not thousands of American soldiers’ lives) are saved from a future war if Ghadaffi remains in power. Fortunately for the US, they are not as short sighted as you and see a little bit more long term.

Suiss geologists and US Scientist have already published an article in Science magazine about the ground aorund camp bontsteel. They've found out Kosovo has a SGD of 14,5, which is extreme high and unexplainable. SGD is the international measurement unit for spaghetti cultivation (SGD-Spaghetti Growing Degree) with this degree you can harwest spaghetti, that grow up to 30 inch (76,2cm) twice a year. This is causing many problems in the camp: again and again military vehicles were pricked the wheels by sphagetti sprouts. There were also reports of broken tank-chains, but I think this is not possible. Anyway, if you travel around Kosovo, you will find roads in very bad condition even if they were fixed one year ago. Typical pacifying of Albanians. They haven't said anything. So then let's see what happens when you want to travel to or trade with those countries. You will definitely get a no.
You need their YES so until you get that it's a NO. Do you understand that now?

"I'm disjointed in your post. Empirical evidence suggests that Serbia has borrowed more money in the last 5 - 7 years than Kosovo has borrowed in the last thousand years."
(KOSO, 1 April 2011 23:41)
Funny remark. Doesn't Kosovo exists only for 3 years now? ;-) But yes, I think you are right about borrowed money! but I was talking about the billions of US/EU DONOR (= gift) money for Kosovo. And keep in mind that Serbia has an about four time bigger number of inhabitants.

I am now convinced that we are talking to a child when we talk to KOSO.
You borrowed more than we have in a thousand years!!!!!! What is this?
My daddy is a thousand times stronger than your daddy!!! You are a thousand times more stupid!!! etc. etc.
Only kids talk like this.
Like you said Top, gross exaggeration here. Kosovo HAS been around for thousands of years, but KosovA has not. Not even three. They are still not recognised by majority of the world.

Turn it into a town, move all the albanian invalids from the war. I've got the perfect name for it: Baksuz
