Maybe the Serbs in the North should just declare a UDI and then integrate back into Serbia? Seems to work for others....(accepting the fact that in order to declare UDI from Kosovo they would first have to be part of the initial UDI declared by the K Albs) Can someone explain how in one moment the KAlbs feel it acceptable to apparently view themselves seperate from a sovereign territory and yet when a part of that so called independant state announces that they dont want to be part of it, the K Albs declare that they dont have any right to say that? Seems a bit out of balance to me.

Were it that simplistic. The Albanians in Kosovo do not simply not want to be a part of Serbia. They are afraid of being a part of Serbia again. They lost all their rights, their employment, their schools, when that did not run them off, they were systematically persecuted by Serbian police and paramilitary, beaten, raped, tortured and murdered.
Since everyone here seems to agree the north is not under the control of Pristina, they have not experienced that. So they do simply not want to be under the control of the Kosovo govt.(They really do not want to be under the control of the Serbian govt either, they are enjoying their free reign)
Removing the north from Kosovo would be a separatist movement, Kosovo from Serbia is far more than that.
But me personally, I do support at least autonomy for the north, which would be ideal for the people in the north because there would be no big forced crack down by either Kosovo/Eulex, nor by Serbian authorities. In order to move forward Kosovo should not waste their energy and resources trying to hold onto the north for pride, as Serbia should focus their energy on their future and quit being bogged down trying to regain Kosovo.

This clown is back again nagging all of us to death. There will be NO COMPROMISES, you got that? Hear us loud and clear!!! The biggest compromise was the Constitution of of Kosovo. Go read it here (in Shqip, English, or Srpski):

Furthermore, Ms. Tahiri knows fully well that the cadastre needs to be the ORIGINAL version, not copies, because they belong to the citizens of Kosovo...not Serbia. Unless of course you also claim because a lot of Kosovars were born pre-declaration than their well-being and organs such as their skin and heart also belongs to Yugoslavia? Do you own everything that was, passed through, and produced during the era when Kosovo was part of Yugoslavia?

For the uninformed a cadastre is/are the legal documents of registered properties. What Serbia is trying to do is pull a trick on Kosovo by giving us the copies in order for an exchange. After the exchange Serbia can turn around and claim, "look Kosovo is ours because we have the original copies...duh, do you know any states that their legal property documents are maintained or under the possession of another? No! Therefore Kosovo is Serbia".

We're not having it clown...this is the same tactics you used with COUNTRY v. STATE when we agreed to be a "Shtete" (state) under the title of "krahina" in the late 70s instead of a "republic" even though it was 100% clear that Kosovo had the same rights, institutional powers, and vote in the union as Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, etc.

Sorry for the long comment, thanks in advance,

When asked whether the north of Kosovo would be discussed during the talks, she said that it was a “non-existing issue” for them.

“The north does not exist as a topic. What does exist is the issue of Serbs living in the northern part of Kosovo, who, under Belgrade’s influence, hesitate to integrate in the Kosovo reality and institutions,” the head of the Priština’s negotiating team pointed out.
