sj,

I understand your sympathy for the dictators like Ghadaffi, Sadam Hussain, Milloshevic and others as well as Russia's concerns of arming rebels. Someone here called them "terrorists". There is a reason for it, it is called INFLUENCE/making money. There world would better without Ghadaffi and Co. Getting rid of them is a contribution to peace. According to international law? That is where Russia is good in obstructing it especially in the Security Council.

While you’re at the UN get the US to help liberate people from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan and United Arab Emirates. As far as “terrorist” are concerned it was the US intelligence services that picked up the “chatter’ about Al Qaida not the Russians.
Personally, I hope these western buffoons arm the “rebels’ and see what happens then.

sj,

Having a bit of "Deja Vu", are you. Your irrationality is understandable, after all 1999 was not so long ago.

Yes, I know my irrationality is based on 1999. Look at the past two wars your delightful US has waged with magnificent wins lol, lol.
Here is a small prediction – whether Gadaafi wins or loses the west is the loser. Gaddafi stays they look silly; Gaddafi goes Al Qaida wins ha, ha, ha, ha I will have to rename the US to the United Sates of Imbeciles – can’t wait.

Let the western idiots arm the rebels and see how long it takes Al Quida to rear it ugly head in full force. You don’t have to be a genius to realise that after two spectacularly failed wars that there is something rotten in the Pentagon.

This new mission was brought about by the same incompetent military strategists that advised George Bush. It was the same old whisper in the ear “it will only take a week at the most. All the work will be done by the rebels and we will support them from the air”.

Some may have noted that the US is now suggesting, via the Arab League, of allowing negotiations to take place between the Colonel and the rebels, and even allowing the Colonel to leave without facing prosecution. It’s amazing what seven days of getting now where can bring about – the rebels are in full flight despite air support from the US.

Gaddafi would be insane to accept this offer of leaving on the basis of not being prosecuted because the US would keep quiet for a year or two then demand that he be arrested and put on trial for making the US/NATO look like buffoons. Why do you think that Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe refuses to leave? He knows that the west would put him on trial even though they gave their word he could leave without prosecution.

See what Radovan Karadzic has done to the west and its credibility - confirmed by Wiki Leaks.

As the French would say, Le Buffoons!
