One of the main Albanian disadvantages is the lack of territory, our land is fertile, even in the highest peaks of hills , but our borders are shrinked, hence it is not wise to plant wheat.. and i predict we will have problems with wheat in the future like wise montenegro...once we anex Kosovo all problems will be solved, Kosovo field is enormous. And we will take our little northe western ally side and help them, despite our wars in 1878 until 1913 in medieval times Montenegrin princes allways allied with Albanians. It is time Montenegrins embrace their true origins.

Montenegro is still heavily dependent on Serbian tourism as well.

Any break down in trade relations would make both countries suffer, but Montenegro would suffer much more.

What could Montenegro do even if it took action? Hold its breath until it turns blue? There are only a few that make comment on this site that know the difference between economic reality and fantasy and Montenegro lives off tourism with no other industry so you can imagine that as the GFC continues its earning capacity is stagnant at best or continues to fall and so the EU has to subsidies it. It is a well know fact that 80% of its population live on or below the poverty line. I watched an Italian made documentary on Montenegro that stated this fact – I was surprised that the authorities allowed the makers to say something like this.
Yes Montenegro is mountainous and picturesque, but try and eat rocks. As EU funds start to shrink the dosage of reality increases – the same applies to Kosovo Albanians.

Montenegro (black-mountains) is a very mountaneus country hence no fields where it can grow wheat and therefore is dependant. Unfortunatelly many of the rivers and streams in those beautiful mountains have nearly dried up and as a result Montenegro imports water as well. But in return Montenegro offers most stunning scenery, beautiful resorts and beaches and a real must for someone who is looking to experiance something different still at minimum of cost.
