top,

you're right that's a ridiculous notion. I would support (Ethnic) Albania as it was until London Conference of 1912.

Thanks,

"Kosovo should not remain independence for a long time as it belongs to Albania, and unification is happening as we speak. Srbrenica horrors are still vivid in most of European minds. Attempting something similar may risks its fundamental existence. "

Srebrenica happened because ofthe stupid idea of a 'greater Serbia". And that's why the EU will prevent the similar nonsense idea of a 'greater Albania'.

You speak of the internal division among Kosovo leaders over the talks as if Serbia is united on their stance. Has the DSS not openly said these talks are the path to the recognition of Kosovo.
Neither side is wholly supported in these talks, nor is either side actually there to "negotiate" it is for show. You condemn Kosovo for saying they will not consider autonomy for the north, but autonomy for the north can only happen if Kosovo is free to grant such, and Serbia insists that Kosovo is not. So how do you condemn them for not allowing that which you say they do not have the power to grant???
I do agree with you on the unification of Kosovo and Albania though, those who support the independence of Kosovo will not support any steps toward that process.

Your username betrays ulterior notions of Albanian triumphalism and exaggerated notions of pragmatism and superiority. Unification of Kosovo with Albania will not happen as the international powers are determined to make Kosovo a workable project. As far as criticizing Serbia's apparent "uncivilized manner" you obviously haven't been reading the latest articles in the news; all of which note Kosovo is an internally divided unit where one side of Kosovo's MPs want an end to these talks because only Serbia will benefit, while the other side continues to believe something will come out of it. Serbia is making far more practical and creative strategies for solving the Kosovo than anything Kosovo is doing. Your own comment shows that you're not interested so much in a creative solution as you want an enlarged Albania because you can't think of making Kosovo a viable multiethnic state on its own. Serbs are cooperating with the EU. Kosovar Albanians are huffing and puffing but can't get anywhere without international support. Albanians are the ones that need to either get their heads out of the sand or out from the clouds and think rationally and pragmatically. Refusing to even consider granting autonomy to northern Kosovo is itself an example of Kosovo's politicians just not understanding the meaning of negotiation.

I think Pristina has changed alot to accommodate Western needs. Now it is time for Belgrade to change if they want to get out of isolation and be able to participate on regional and world initiatives.

Kosovo should not remain independence for a long time as it belongs to Albania, and unification is happening as we speak. Serbia is pretty aware of this but it want to grab something, whatever it before it is to late.

From International Western perspective Serbia needs to show tangible ways that it is leaving its uncivilized past behind and it is moving towards democracy, prosperity and moral values. Srbrenica horrors are still vivid in most of European minds. Attempting something similar may risks its fundamental existence.

“I am surprised by Priština's claims that they will do everything in their might not to change their laws and regulations, since I am not sure that something like that is possible,” he said
--
Priština's "might" comes from the EU/US so they can huff and puff but in the end they will accept reality. If they don't want to change then they remain isolated as normal.
