S&P agency boosts Serbia's credit rating

Credit rating agency Standard and Poor's (S&P) says it has boosted Serbia's long-term rating for loan procurement in both local and foreign currency.

I agree with Dave.

ANY positive news is positive. Also the dinar is doing a bit better and Serbia will keep critical wheat supplies for Serbians.

BB and BB- are both rated: "Non-investment grade. speculative"

In other words, BB and BB- are both solidly the "economic crap-hole, don't invest here. category"

It's nevertheless a positive development. To get from UN sanctions to straight A's you have to fo through BB first. Let's not criticise for the sake of criticism.
