--There is no difference between Gaddafi and Miloshevic. Both cowards. Slaughtering civilans is easy, but try to take on real soldiers!?
Hope NATO will decide to take some pre-emptive strikes at Gadafi's HQ and anything that he owns. All it takes is about 20 NATO planes to hit Gaddafi's places, and Libya will be liberated from the dictator.

agim -- couldn't have said it better myself. nice to know i'm not alone in the shark tank. thank god for allies.

as for the supporters of gaddafi, that just says it all, you've indicted yourselves now and for all time.

so much evil in this world, but also goodness, which we have to try to concentrate on or we will surely be driven quite mad.

to freedom! a curse to the fascists!

Like many of us I am very skeptic about Qaddafi but there are things which surprise me in the campaign launched against him.
1/ Why do they call him Gadhafi ? In Arabian the first letter (“qaf”) sounds as a throat “K”/ Then we have a “D” letter with a “tashdid” doubling sound. So the best for him would be Qaddafi or Qaddafy.
2/ Libya is a UN member whose the only legal and internationally acknowledged leader is executing his direct obligations against the coup d’état sponsored from the outside.
3/ In a few days when everything will be over we shall face a stupid situation when 100% of the citizens will be expressing their love for the Colonel ( even if some of them hate him ) while the rest of the world will keep on ignoring him. Then what and for how long ?
4/ Why do the Turkish have the right to bomb their own Kurds or Russia to bomb Grozny city or Pakistan to bomb the Pashtoons ect. while Qaddafi is deprived of the same right to keep the integrity and order ?
5/ I wonder if the Anglo-Saxon leaders of the West are so eager to crush Qaddafi or they would like him to encourage the remaining regional puppets of their own to stop the revolt wave ?

The Lybian army reminds me of the Serbian army of the 90s. Fighting poorly equipped insurgents while targeting also civilians and reporters. It is not an equal fight. And interestingly the same scum which supported the devastation in Kosovo now also supports the destruction of the Lybian people by this lunatic in Tripolis.

The time to strike this lunatic is now. Just do it.

Go brother Gadhafi! Slaughter all those innocent people! YEAH! Who do those rebels think they are?! Don't they know that brother Gadhafi has run Libya for forty years and will never give up power!! Why should the people have a say in how their country is run when the plan is to hand over control to brother Gadhafi's sons! Those crazy drugged up rebels are getting what they deserve!! Way to stand up to America too!! I cant believe how you have managed to defend your small country against that mighty superpower! Even though Obama and the United States haven't lifted a finger in trying to stop you, I will not let that fact get in the way of my ability to bash the U.S no matter what the story is! YEAH!!

agim,
if your assumption of 20 nato planes is close to accurate i wonder why it too so long to topple saddam, and lets not mention the 9.5 years to pick off a few cave dwellers in afghan...
and i know that more than 20 planes bombed the lights out of kosovo and serbia, night and day for 78 of them before the mighty nato could get serbia to capitulate...
so perhaps nato is supreme in military might, but that supremecy hasn't materialized very many outright, steam roll victories... i might be wrong, remind me when nato's might ended up delivering a quick knock out?
and for that matter, when did nato or us fight an army anywhere comprable to its own? ww2 is the last time, and nato nations are lucky that hitler was stupid enough to incessently bomb london alone and not the rest of the raf and isle, and also he renegged on his deal with stalin and went after the russian bear. so if hitler was less arrogant nato would be ss-to, and former warsaw pact would be dresden pact...
we can all talk and talk about how awesome nato is, but let us for one get a chance to see its awesomeness.
