I do not know with who the prisons across the Europe are filled with, but I know for shure that prisons in Hague are swamped with serbian.
(gjon fusha, 14 March 2011 22:26)

It is a fact that the prisons across Europe are filled with law abiding Albanians, that who!
As far as The Hague is concerned well we all know that it’s a show trial process for Serbians who exposed the United States of Windbags for what it really is – a bunch of clowns. Look at their misadventures in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Libya. Bungling idiots!

Logical Conclusion

pre 13 godina

After all the humiliating and degrading experiences Serbia has put itself in over the past twenty years, one would think Serbia would take advantage of this opportunity to attend this conference in order to help its failing economy.

It is like someone who is unemployed, but refuses to go on a job interview. Remember, God helps those that help themselves!

Yes and say thank you to your uncle Ben... that's the result of collateral damage! But albanians are the permanent residents of EU prisons as result of successful economic activity and honest racketeering and so on.

Ant this is unfortunately only the top of the iceberg of the heroin trafficking controlled by the K and Albanian maffia not only in Switzerland but in Europe ! Most probably these people are like in most of the cases "refugees" that we accepted during the war.

truthiness

pre 13 godina

If this tactic of "cutting off your nose to spite your face" is the best the Serbian side can come up with , the depth of their overall strategy must be seriouslly questioned.

Any intelligent person will always weigh the benifits and the cost of any situation - and rationale will cause the benefits to govern the decision - its called logic.

This hissy fit by the Belgrade authorities does nothing for the decent average Serbian. Regretfully , another decision by Serbs that will hurt only Serbs. And yet AGAIN , they only have themsleves to blame. Such a shame.

Serbia is trying to separate the us from the eu in western Balkan politics. The message is very clear: eu, you're welcome, us, stay out! It is just that the us hates this message.

Milan T

Yet again Serbia is being seen as a trouble maker.
(ivan, 14 March 2011 16:18)

Why would Serbia care what they are seen as thru the eyes of Albanians and USA? Neither of them are true friends to the Serbs. And if you want to talk about trouble makers, why don't you go look what most of the world feels about Albanians. There is a reason prisons all across Europe are swamped with Albanians. And as far as the U.S. goes, most of the world feels they are "trouble makers" themselves. Innocent Americans are dying because their government causes trouble all over the globe and uses propaganda to justify sending it's young men in the armed forces to do the dirty work and occasionally die.

Creative Process

pre 13 godina

I hope it is clear to every CREATIVE RATIONAL individuals that Serbia by boycotting U.S.-Balkans Business Summit is hurting itself not others.

Serbia is losing in all ends as far as Kosovo debate is concerned:
politically, historically, economically and culturally.

Serbia should better focus on Sanjak and Vojvodina and recognize immediately Kosovo if they want to prosper, otherwise bad times are almost inevitable.
(Creative Rationality, 14 March 2011 16:02)

You are about as creative as the abstract expressionist Gologovno on a blank piece of paper, and your rationality is based on Kosova's Tourism Administrators': Let's tell the world we have Polar Bears and many will believe us.
Frankly, I "like" the Croat creative rationality better than Albanian. The Croats would have somehow woven in the vision of Djeva Marija or Mother Teresa with the Polar Bear story, called it Medvedgora, and presto, tourism problems solved for ever. Don't be jealous of your neighbors now, just be more creative next time.

This post is ridiculous even when not considering the poor grammar. Turkey has an army and has been a member of HATO for decades and it still can't get into the eu. What chance do albania, montenegro and macedonia have? We're not sure when croatia will get in. It won't happen during this economic crisis.

''MFA Political Director and leader of Belgrade's team in Kosovo talks Borko Stefanović told B92 on Monday in Belgrade that the Baltimore meeting would have Hashim Thaci participate, with Kosovo represented as "the republic of Kosovo". ''

I guess by this logic Edita Tahiri represent Prishtina as a city and not 'the republic of Kosovo' on the ongoing dialoug between Prishtina and Belgrade ?

Kosovo is taking part in the dialoug to show its maturity on the international stage but serbs or Serbia should not belive that Kosovo can be forced or fooled to talk issues related to status. It will never happend so dont stop missing this kind of important economical meetings because Kosovo will be present everytime in country's we are recognized by. Kosovo independence will not change and Serbia is not in a position to change it.

One conference missed out of many is not a problem. Besides, Kosovo is a beggar state looking for handouts so I don't think that it would have been much of a conference if that is the kind of countries it is attracting. Kosovo has been trying for twelve years to attract foreign investment but because of the lack of infrastructure, corruption, and undefined status, Kosovo can't do much more than import.

You know that I have the liberty not to respond to the question and this because of a very simple reason. It is not me who constantly brabbles that "Kosovo is part of Serbia" or refer to the Serbian constitution. It is Belgrade and if they honestly believe in that and also exert their own constitution and law then they are obliged to seize all diplomatc ties to those countries, whether it serves something or not, even though it would have tremendous and devestating side effects. But that are the moments when I see that Belgrade has only a big mouth, uncapable of really doing what they should do if they really believe in what they bark on a daily base.

The decision to stay out of this conference is not coherent with the (cheap) talk and therefore stupid. It only serves for internal consumption, but with a very bad cover for everybody who looks behind the sharade.

This is only a game by Serbia. If they would be serious and upholding their own principles and law, they supposed to halt all diplomatic relations with countries that recognized Kosovo. No country in the world keeps diplomatic ties with another one when the borders are not recognized. Look over Georgia. Those stance is transparent. I still see the Serbian embassies in Western capitals. Laughable.., but not really surprising, since talk is cheap.

If Serbia dont change its attitude towards Kosovo there will be no EU for Serbia while countrys such as Croatia,Macedonia,Montengro and Albania will pass Serbia on that road. Kosovo will form its army and join Nato wich is the main priority for Kosovo now. Serbia will be isolated, poor and still without Kosovo.

"U.S. State Department official Thomas Countryman has stated that Belgrade is sending a wrong message by boycotting a conference."

Tell me Countryman, where is the sacred law that states that every country must attend your Yankee conference? Especially when you are hardly in a position nowadays to play sugar daddy anymore. Who are you kidding?

One conference missed out of many is not a problem. Besides, Kosovo is a beggar state looking for handouts so I don't think that it would have been much of a conference if that is the kind of countries it is attracting. Kosovo has been trying for twelve years to attract foreign investment but because of the lack of infrastructure, corruption, and undefined status, Kosovo can't do much more than import.

(JohnC., 14 March 2011 12:28)
When was the last time Tadic traveled to a country that has not recognized Kosovo??

Look at where the politicians are spending their time: "Reshuffling" the deck of cards (cads). Unbelieveable! Clearly, those in power are not playing with a "full deck" as the idiom goes.

I just came back from Belgrade. In the words of another: "Grim." Prices keep rising and wages are stagnant, or worse.

Economics SHOULD be job one. Period. The present group is completely out-of-touch.

Early elections please. Maybe someone else can get this.

Serbia is trying to separate the us from the eu in western Balkan politics. The message is very clear: eu, you're welcome, us, stay out! It is just that the us hates this message.
(JohnBoy, 14 March 2011 19:57)

Makes sense!
I am sure EU will chose Serbia over US.
Dear, what a logic?

Logical Conclusion

pre 13 godina

After all the humiliating and degrading experiences Serbia has put itself in over the past twenty years, one would think Serbia would take advantage of this opportunity to attend this conference in order to help its failing economy.

It is like someone who is unemployed, but refuses to go on a job interview. Remember, God helps those that help themselves!

truthiness

pre 13 godina

If this tactic of "cutting off your nose to spite your face" is the best the Serbian side can come up with , the depth of their overall strategy must be seriouslly questioned.

Any intelligent person will always weigh the benifits and the cost of any situation - and rationale will cause the benefits to govern the decision - its called logic.

This hissy fit by the Belgrade authorities does nothing for the decent average Serbian. Regretfully , another decision by Serbs that will hurt only Serbs. And yet AGAIN , they only have themsleves to blame. Such a shame.

This post is ridiculous even when not considering the poor grammar. Turkey has an army and has been a member of HATO for decades and it still can't get into the eu. What chance do albania, montenegro and macedonia have? We're not sure when croatia will get in. It won't happen during this economic crisis.

Serbia is trying to separate the us from the eu in western Balkan politics. The message is very clear: eu, you're welcome, us, stay out! It is just that the us hates this message.

Ant this is unfortunately only the top of the iceberg of the heroin trafficking controlled by the K and Albanian maffia not only in Switzerland but in Europe ! Most probably these people are like in most of the cases "refugees" that we accepted during the war.
