Figures... the only politician in Serbia who never personally profited from being in power, who lives in a small apartment, drives a yugo and has worn the same wardrobe since the 80s is suddenly being bothered (again) with ridicules conspiracy theories to try and discredit him because well let’s face it, he’s better than them. Conveniently as pre-election campaigns are starting up, I might add.
Kostunica you have nothing to prove to these imbeciles. If they have evidence, let them present it, otherwise they can bugger off!

Kate which non existent figure am I hunting exactly?

Now remind me why you bothered to post to tell me I'm paranoid and what is has to do with the subject in hand?

Trying to attack a person rather than a point they're making is becoming a little commonplace isn't it?

I agree, bganon, your stats for today are rather suspicious, particularly as your comment didn't strike me as very polarizing. The thumbs down count hardly looks legit.

I wonder if they are from Kosovo. I heard voting like that is considered a usual habit there :D

I always disliked the way Djindjic used Kostunica to get power, and then once he was there he tried to do everything the yanks told him to and turned his back on Kostunica's patriotic policies. It is a typical trick of the imperialists: Tell your stooges to say whateve it takes to get on power, and then once there you listen to the imperialists and forget the voters.
The west hates Kostunica, because he is a principled Serbian patriot, who can not be bought with dollars. He put it into law that Kosovo is Serbia, and any politician who attempts to change this law will be crucified. Bravo Vojo, you have done good for Serbia and its people, and have dealt a major blow to our imperialist enemies - this is why they hate you so much.
The typical Kostunica bashers are out I see. Roberto, you still don't know how to use punctuation, which is pathetic. Have you been educated in the English language? You are obviously of a low social class, which shows with your anti-Serb diatribes. No wonder you fit in so well with the Kandic, Biserko, Ceda crowd.

You are quite good at what former Otporistas usually do: lying and throwing accusations for whatever reason.

Write better comments and you will get better ratings, simple as that.

--When asked whether he would respond to the prosecution's call for questionning, the DSS leader said that he had already said everything he had to say about Đinđić's murder. --

So, how many years has it taken? only 8? that's pretty speedy over there, right?

it was always known by the ngo's we spoke with that kostunica had involvement in zoran's assassination. and others as well. as i have mentioned, the departure flights and circumstances of that nice, popular(on this site) mr sesejl and that oh so nice mrs markovic (the red witch, who safely resides in democratic russia!)were suspect at best.

we were also told that yr nice mr kostunica was directly responsible for destroying god knows how much evidence, how many files from the monster milosevic regime, thereby making past crimes of one sort or another extremely problematic to properly prosecute. war crimes, and internal crimes.

one of the problems w/ the silencing of the blgd intellectual dissidents here, besides being evil and unethical of course, is the resulting lack of basic information and analysis. what we are now hearing, seeing is govt approved, blgd regime timed, for their own internal reasons. a free and dynamic press would have been pushing these issues years ago, instead of pussy-footing around 8 years later.

a timid, govt controlled press is no frnd of democracy (assuming anyone wants to see democracy) as you well know.

it is time to break out of the shackles of the past. the soviet/putin model is not the answer, people.

Now let me see, most people that have posted, I'd say a majority don't disagree with what I wrote.

But here comes the troll wtf, go east, etc with his multiple voting and is if by magic I have more negative votes than this piece of news has hits today.

When are you going to get a life wtf? But I'm glad you condone Djindjic's murder, it shows your moral fibre, as does your invention of multiple identities. Low.

Its ironic really Kostunica believed that his (dubious) means of politics justified the ends - being more popular among the voting public. The troll wtf believes that pretending to have more support for his viewpoint justifies the means of multiple votes. The problem is that there is no end, although in his immature mind he believes that thumbs upping and downing will increase support for his opinion.

For one that considers himself clever, its worthy of pity really!

Unlike some PM in a dream state who is accused of some crimes, Kostunica should only appear for being questioned. But yes, somehow strange that the reactions of both persons are somehow similar: Denial.

He may be unconnected to the Djindjic thing but he's enough of a directionless contrarian & political miscalculator that he should be singled out anyway.

I'm sure, this call for a questioning is the work of an 'anti-DSS' network, payed by Washington, which is against Serbia, it's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, against all Serbs - and of course not at all against Kostunica as a person ;-)

Sounds so familiar...

He is possibly not responsible for the assassination of PM Djindjic, but certainly responsible for not having arrested Mladic and Karadzic. Because of him, Serbia has lost 10 precious years in making Serbia a normal state in the community of nations.

wtf

pre 13 godina

That western imposed opportunist and traitor was and will for all foreseeable future be a shame and disgrace to every Serb. Far worse then Vidkun Quisling ever was to the Norwegians.

His worst crime against Serbia was of course accepting blood money from the western powers for the kidnapping of an elected president and unlawfully sending him to his de facto execution in the former Nazi interrogation center in the Haag, now a NATO show tribunal.

bganon

Cry me a river.
He is not being persecuted or prosecuted for that matter.

He is being asked to explain why he supported the JSO protest before their senior members murdered Djindjic. He might also be asked whether there were links between certain DSS members such as Zoran Sami, who allegedly visited JSO headquaters to discuss something and Legija.

Generally speaking for me none of this is evidence that Kostunica had anything to do with Djindjic's murder.

However, DSS led by Kostunica and his machiavellian advisors were trying to politically benefit from JSO activities. Suddenly that form of irresponsible politics blew up in their faces with the murder of Djindjic and now he is crying about those mistakes.

Too bad, if DSS had more principles and refused to ab(use) the JSO protest this would never have happened.

That is typical for a polititian with immunity that when he/she is accused of something they call it "political". If Koshtunica has nothing to worry he should respond in the Court of Law. I would not be surprised if the accusations are proved to be true.
