Since 2000 the Japanese have donated among the most aid to Serbia of any country.

I've said this before, but considering that there are not many Japanese companies in Serbia, Japan has had little self interest in courting Serbian friendship.

For that reason alone Japan should be considered to be a friend of Serbia.

"Japan's desire to get a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council..." will remain chanceless if Serbia fails to support it.

Considering that the article is about Serbia's economic ties with Japan, there's no need to single out one province. We're being represented as one country. Cheers!

Maybe you forgot, but Japan was one of the first countries to recognize Kosovo as independent. So Tadic is in no way considered to be representing Kosovo to the Japanese govt.
If you notice Tadic spends vast more time courting cooperation from countries that recognize Kosovo than those who do not.

"I assume Tadic is well aware that Japs are not interested what Serbia thinks about Kosova.
(Agim Kelmendi, 8 March 2011 17:20) "

I think it is more likely that the Japanese are not interested in "Kosova" period.

Quite frankly, I was shocked that this is the first time that since 1968 that an official visit has been made to Japan.

When I think of the buses, scholarships, and friendship that the Japanese have offered for at least 20 years---this is ridiculous and insulting.

Does anyone think the Japanese have not noticed all the Serbian sucking up to the Chinese?

Good thing I am not in diplomacy. I would say to BT: Go home BT. Your own government is falling apart. Oops! My mistake. That's why you were even willing to go to Japan.

PS: Many thanks to the Serbs who made the beautiful fountain at Kalemegdan dedicated to the Japanese people.

-- No, they're talking about economic cooperation. You know, the thing Belgrade didn't go to in Baltimore?
