"Talks will begin after resolution adoption"

Head of the Kosovo Albanian delegation in <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2011&mm=03&dd=08&nav_id=73110" class="text-link" target= "_blank">Kosovo talks</a> Edita Tahiri says they will officially begin when the assembly in Priština adopts its resolution.

I think B92 misquoted her. It is not the adoption of a 'resolution', but the adoption of a cute orphan kitten that has blocked the parliament in Pristina, such being the pressing and urgent nature of such an issue. Apparently the disagreement is over what to call it ('Thaci' or 'Rugova') and what sex it is (male or female ).

Apparently, the Serb delegation had some difficulty understanding the difference between "negotiations" and dialogue. The Albanians and the EU, being in agreement, had no problem with simple English. Perhaps some remedial lessons in English are in order for the Serbs.

Interesting. Kosovo representatives already fail even before the talks have started. I'm think the EU mediator will be very amused about this 'professional' behaviour. But okay, it suits to Kosovo politicians well...
