Well today's news says that he's been set free as he's believe to have been wrongly accused, according even to the Kosovo Albanian police!
You awful people wanting him to "rot in jail" when he was blamed for what someone else did.
The rule is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, and proven guilty would require things such as ballistic evidence or gunpowder traces on his hands (showing he recently fired a weapon), etc.
My guess is they found that the boy was not killed with that gun at all and they didn't have any other real evidence against him.
He was simply a Serb who lived in the general area.
It could have been anybody else who was lurking or in that area who killed the boy.
Nothing is mentioned about when this killing occurred - is it something from years ago, during the wartime even or something recent?
In any event this guy could have been framed or blamed for what someone else has done.
Nothing has been show that the bullets were from that hunting rifle - no ballistic tests or evidence at this point. Most all in Kosovo own at least some type of guy.
Also the report says "someone" shot them when they were coming from the woods - it could have been anyone lurking around in the woods or its border - not necessarily this man just because he had a hunting gun.

Exact same thing that serbian kids died for while trying to cool of in a river,or bying candy in the store..but reasoning with albanians is useless..now we hear this Serbian mans father was killed by albanians and guilty albanians pointed finger at him for pushing the justice.. this kid was killed by albanians..this is just political thing perpetueted by the organ snatchers..
This smells like a set up! The only time KPS arrest someone its always a Serb. Where ever there is a lonely Serb living amongst albanians he is guilty of a crime. I guess Kosovo got its bad reputation (human trafficing, organ harvesting, drugsmugling etc) from the 25 Serbs still living in the South.

it would seems that ilds is using the same logic as is used by some of the militant kosovars: "returning serbs did (your favorite offense) to us way back when". we've all seen the many cases where all returning serbs have been categorized along with those that committed war crimes. so as we see, since serbs feel that kosovo's calls for independence are an act of theft, all associated with this act must be part of it. perhaps it is a little too much of a broad stroke, but so is the sentiment that all serbs are butchers.

not to take away from this tragedy, and yes it is always tragic when a youngster dies a senseless death, but i have seen many many cases where k-serbs tried to work with kps, only to have them return with sad tales of insufficient evidence, or lack of credible witnesses (because the many serbian witnesses that have come forth have never been sufficient, -- yet the witnesses in this case were). Again, it is tragic and the perpetrator should face the appropriate punishment -- as should all wrong doers.

do we have to spell it out for you? Everyone cooperates with Kosovo Police except for Serbs...that's why. Kosovar serbs lack the ability to understand that the police isn't there to enact UN resolutions but service the community needs for peace and security.

Was this 14 year old boy(RIP) a threat to the prepetrator in any way?, or the killer decided to test fire his rifle!?

A good sign that KPS seems to be able to do some investigations which results in finding suspects. But the question remains why this seems to be only the case if the victim is an Albanian and the alleged perpetrator a Serb and not vice versa.
