"Why would Marty hand anything over to EULEX? He knows their part, or at least the controlling members part in the crimes in Kosovo. They will do anything they can to protect themselves and hide their wickedness.

Why is this thing so hard for the Albanians on this site to believe, or should I say admit"

- How do you supposse EULEX investigate the case then?
Shouldn't Marty and Serbia bring forth their 'evidence'?

Or, they make it public since you think the world is a huge conspiracy and against Serbia. This way, the 'evidence' would not be destroyed. If you have witnesses and fear for their lives then you could put them in witness protection. It exists.

Why is this thing so hard for the Serbs on this site to believe, or should I say admit"

Why is this thing so hard for the Albanians on this site to believe, or should I say admit. There are many news reports around the world that show how much evil some Albanian criminals are. I remember reading a comment here before that showed some of the news reports that said that the Albanian mafia was more cruel than any other and other similar things. I will see if I can find it, there were links to the news articles in the comment.

# Yes, Jeremic we know you won't give up. You said the same about arresting Mladic for 15 years and he still is free. Vuk Jeremic has become like Charlie Sheen.

Charlie Sheen is cool. Lives in the moment, I like that. He has many millions tho, so it's a bit easier for him.

You can forget about Mladic, sorry to be blunt. The EU and USA officials know where he is, and probably know what his end will be like. But they are not going to bother to initiate an arrest. Serbia has no clue where Mladic is, beleive it or not.

Mladic holds information that holds a lot of people by the neck. Another Milosevic cannot come out of this, it would be too obvious.

The EU is just using that as leverage, so Serbia will bend over more.

Exactly what is it you call an independent investigation??
No one seems to know, is it one set up by the EU, that would be Eulex but that is not acceptable. Is is one set up by the UN that would be either UNMIK or the Hague, but then again these are not acceptable. So the question is not one of morality, but basically where do you want this "independent" investigation to come from?
The most rational of the choices would be to extend the Hague mandate. A more difficult task would be to expand EULEX's mandate to give un impeded jurisdiction to investigate criminal cases in Kosovo, Albania, and Serbia.
I think most people are not trying to block an investigation, but more puzzled as to why neither Marty nor Serbia will cooperate with investigators.
The Serbian response seems to be we want an investigation and not we are cooperating with investigators.

; I think the families of the supposed victims will be insulted and offended because their deaths are been exploited by the Serbian government for political purposes. That is morally wrong!

You and your "brothers" are the last people who should speak on behalf of the victims and their families.

I think the families will be insulted by your biased statements not what Serbia is doing.

i'm not 100% sure what it is that our great moral pundants here want. they talk of democracy and freedom, and rights and fairness, yet they attack a person who is trying to encorage a proper investigation into alleged crimes. to me this seems like a very prudent step to take. perhaps such steps could have been taken by the likes of bush and blair when they painted claims of wmds throughout iraq. i'm sure that the surviving members of militarily shrunk families are not so thrilled about the political spins used to destroy their very existances.
the search for truth (not yours or mine, but actual) should never be discouraged if one is arrogant enough to call themselves a democratic and or free society.
it would be nice to see the general stoppage of politicizing international events, but its hard to expect "new and young" democracies to follow such rules when long established ones don't. many of the policies the west implemented against and within the serbia were more based upon political rationalle than the "facts" on the ground. 'tis the twisted bed-fellow world we're living in isn't it.

"Serbia will not give up on this case, as it is a moral imperative of the first order to us," Jeremić underlined.

EULEX has made two official requests to Marty to cooperate and show the evidence of his allegations. He doesn't cooperate. Looks like this isn't really a moral imperative of the first order but just another political move thought to be "smart" by Jeremic & Co. I hope he remembers his last "diplomatic victory".The ICJ.

What we have here is Jeremic and co exploiting these allegations for political purposes instead of genuinely trying to achieve justice for alleged victims. If these allegations are true, regardless of Thaci's alleged involved or not; I think the families of the supposed victims will be insulted and offended because their deaths are been exploited by the Serbian government for political purposes. That is morally wrong!
