once again, Roberto from down-town Pris.., oh...uhm.. "Frisco",

makes our day.

all those socalled "heroes" are falling, one by one.

Naser Oric, a simple coward, who fled Srebrenica in women´s clothes, ...after having ordered his gangs to kill serb civilians... was called a "hero" by the oh so morally clean supporters of that former "bosnian" regime...

very likely Roberto would also call Oric a hero...

and now this socalled "general" is facing the consequences of his crimes...

and there are STILL some clowns calling him a hero...

thank you for that entertainment.

Roberto you include many Serbs in Sarajevo who were executed in their own homes by Izetbegovic's forces. Serbs were killed in their homes or taken to illegal prisons and death camps were many died or ended up starved and tortured.

Sarajevo is not multi-ethnic and the only "Serb" general was because he proved he'd murder Serbs who were leaving in a UN-brokered peace-deal.

It was the Muslims who broke the deal - the Serbs had already released Izetbegovic but the Muslim's didn't hold up their promises, as typical.

Now Sarajevo is about pure Muslim and this guy doesn't have an ethnic Serb surname - it looks Slovak. He is obviously mixed.

Thank you Roberto. Thanks so much. You put it so well that I'm speechless and nothing to add.

Just wondering if I could post this text to some Face-book groups created to free up Jovo ASAP? I'd also like to purchase the book you mentioned in this text. Could you send the link? Thanks again.

"Its not enough that they destroyed Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and finally themselves"

Hey it was your Izetbegovic who said he would sacrifice peace for "independence". And now we know that "independence" is where you are little statelets bossed around by the EU! Jumping through all the EU dictates and hoops and still will be treated lower than the bigger, more central and richer countries.

"The protests began by gathering of people outside the Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo and were completed with throwing of snowballs and oranges at the premises of the Serbian Embassy."

Hurray to the residents of my beloved sarajevo!

jovan divjak is a great hero to the people of sarajevo -- he is one of its most beloved figures, and no one there gives a damn about his ethnicity or his religion (or lack thereof.) what they do admire is his enormous courage, intelligence and integrity, all of which have proved crucial at times of great challenge. especially during the years of serbian nationalist agression, 92-95.

outsiders may have conveniently forgotten or "relativized" those days but sarajevans have not, nor will we ever.

during the war, when every sarajevan daily risked their life under the guns of the agressor -- artillery, snipers, who aimed esp.ly at women and children -- not to mention starvation, divjak was unrelenting in his drive and determination to save the city and its inhabitants. that never had to do with ethnicity, any more than did the fight against the siege of leningrad. actually the siege of sarajevo lasted longer, and was maintained under infinitely more cynical circumstances, incl that of the so-called intl community, which should have bombed the hell out of milosevic/karadzic/mladic forces at the beginning, rather than facilitate them until it was way, way too late.

the blood of at least 10,000 sarajevan men, women and children is on the hands of belgrade, not to mention their proxy, so called "republika srpska." maybe that needed to be mentioned in the "news" article.

How Izetbegovic and his people treated jovan at the end is another story, and perhaps? the only relevant point that some other poster brings up. but it is not relevant here, just another distraction among so many.

my favorite Divjak anecdote, one we included in our book, goes as follows:

"general gvero (deputy commander of enemy, rebel forces) said he would negotiate with us (the bosnian army)as soon as i converted to islam. i sent a message to him: 'I'll convert to islam -- as soon as you climb down from your tree and start to walk upright.'

later, one of our soldiers reported that he had spotted gvero eating a banana."

actually, now that i think about it, is is a bit of a put-down against our primate cousins.

and of course everyone here has forgotten to mention that divjak's work, since the war, is all about the children, bringing children of all ethnicities together for special community experiences.

you cannot even imagine how very desperate the belgrade regime is, these days, to find targets with which to "improve" its position -- between its thrice daily calls of "organ trafficking!!" while having defenders against the serbian nationalist aggression arrested around the world, in a quite desperate hope to twist international perception. but there's only so far you can go before that sleazy strategy begins to backfire.

i'm very, very sorry that we can't be in my beloved sarajevo to take part in said demonstrations, incl the snow-ball aspect, well deserved snow-balls, i might add.

most of us, of divjak's admirers, would do whatever we could to free him. the idea of his facing trial in belgrade, in their "justice" system, is unthinkable. i hope and pray it will never happen. but as i've said, austrian authorities do not readily extradite people, both for the right and wrong reasons.

and handing over innocent men to the belgrade regime w/ all of their desperate lies and "post" milosevic ideology -- i can't imagine.

meanwhile, the belgrade regime claims "10,000 people are out there searching for mladic." its like that old joke: help, help -- i can't see!!... my god, what wrong?... got my eyes closed!!

also, some good articles posted on the helsinki committee's page, can be easily googled. sonia and her colleagues are effectively silenced by the blgd regime's pr squad, but fortunately still available on the internet. god bless the dissidents, in serbia and throughout the world.

thank you, and we look forward to the day of freedom for our beloved general divjak, hopefully soon. you are not alone!

When will this shameful and insane politics of Serbia ever stop? Its not enough that they destroyed Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and finally themselves, Now they have to make bogsu arrests of which every time they do so they lose in court and make a even greater fool of themselves. Just Stop and go to therapy or something..

The Muslims love self-hating Serb-killers like Divjak because he makes them feel better about their own ancestors betrayal and their continuation of the same betrayal.
