Obviously you know nothing about the US. The expression was around far longer than CDs, which came out some time in the mid to late 80s. Records have grooves and needles are used to translate what's in the groove into sound. When a needle SKIPS from one groove to another, one misses a part of the music, or the music can repeat itself if the groove is damaged. Then again, I wouldn't expect you to know that you are not American.

So, a court dismissed Thaci's case because of Marty's immunity, or Thaci simply decided it wasn't worth filing the case "because of Marty's immunity"? Hmmm, interesting. Is there no way around this darned immunity?

I don't know mms, if you find a way around this darned immunity, please let Thaci know. The last word on this was Thaci's who said that he is younger than Marty and can wait until Marty is not protected by the immunity anymore.

"If only Thaci had his day in court, this dark cloud over Thaci and Kosova could be lifted. Damned be the law!"

There's no cloud over Kosova. That's what Marty said, that's what many of team Serbia said on this very site. There's no cloud over the Kosovars, or Kosova's independence, or Kosova's war for independence, or KLA as a whole. These accusations, allegations or fabrications if you will, only concern a small group of people. This comes from the Serbian camp, so lets stick to that.

And yeah, damned be the law, for requiring proof beyond any reasonable doubt, and solid evidence before declaring someone guilty of a crime. It's easier on B92: all you need is a Serb woman to say that she was Berisha's girlfriend and saw Serb prisoners in his backyard.

There is a way around the immunity by allowing a full and impartial investigation to take place. We will get to the truth one way or another.

I'm all for lifting immunity though but it has to include all leaders and former leaders in the world. We could then get Bush, Bliar, Clinton and others in this joint criminal enterprise.

In choosing between the k-trolls theories here and Mr Marty statements, well, as we say in french "il n'y a pas photo" or "not worth the question" I would definitely go for the latter.
He has many times proven during his entire carriere how to uncover the truth and one more time he will succeed.
Of course no one can expect from criminals (not my statement but CIA/BND/UNMIK reports) that they will cooperate.
Yesterday in a Swiss newspaper Del Ponte confirmed that she was hindered to persue a deep investigation and that there was 0 cooperation from the kosovo and albanians side, plus there was no political will from the masters to go too far, hence the investigations had to be stopped !
But now, after Mr Marty's report and leaks in the press things have drastically changed and like back in the 80's where both were fighting the Italian mafia, the dream team is back and will succeed.
Good luck to both of them and the k-troll who believe that Thaci is an angel...

On the contrary to the KAlbs posting here, Mr. Jeremic's argument gets stronger as he has international organizations backing his statements about just how disorganized life is in Kosovo. Further, we all know that it was the goal of certain powerful figures abroad that the world forget about any possible crimes committed in Kosovo. However, true to the Serb spirit, he won't let go of this issue. It's been years since Serbia supposedly lost Kosovo and they are still fighting; they are still keeping the fight in global consciousness. So, Kosova-USA, they are like a broken record; there is no expression "broken CD". If you were truly an American you would know that. I hope Jeremic repeats it to infinity!
(Daniel, 2 March 2011 12:25)
In Kosova-USA's defense, I guess he was trying to bring the saying into the 21st century. The original saying was a misnomer to start, a broken record would not play, a scratched record would play the same part over and over and over.
However, you are wrong on Jeremic gaining steam, you see people in political correctness, saying this should be investigated as it is serious accusations. However most believe that organizations are in place to handle such investigations and it is not so widespread of an incident to warrant the creation of a new agency dedicated to an investigation on this sole matter.
The best Jeremic can hope for is an extension of the mandate for the ICTY and that is not in the interest of Serbia as I am sure you are aware.
His best hopes is an expanded role created for EULEX, that would allow unimpeded investigations into both Albania and Serbia.

Thaci said he will sue Marty for defamation. Marty said that he has immunity, and as a coward that he is, would not shed it to face Thaci in the court of law. So, if Marty had proof and evidence, it would have been in his advantage to face Thaci head on and prove that he has a little bit more that just lies, lies and even more lies and propaganda.

How about the claims from the US State department that Serbs were throwing dead bodies down the Trepca mine shaft? These were all lies, and pure fiction. How about the prevailing view in the media that albanians in Kosovo are somehow 'victims'? This is the biggest fiction of all. They were given everything in Serbia, allowed to cross illegaly and given a much better life than in albania. What did they do? Decades of harrassing, ethnic cleansing of Serbs from the region, terrorism, burning churches, turning over gravestones, attacking Serb speakers at markets, stoning buses, snatching organs....it's a long list.
Dick Marty is onto something here, and it is called the TRUTH, which is in very short supply when it comes to the Balkans.

(Zoran, 2 March 2011 11:16)
Alas, just when Serbia thought they controlled the spotlight with their stories of hundreds of gruesome deaths due to merciless organ harvesters. The fact that the numbers of possible victims can only be tens and not hundreds coupled with the fact "no" one has uncovered any actual proof to date, only uncollaborated 'witness' statements from anonymous sources. Then comes humanitarian crisis in Libya, following Egypt, with others on the horizon Serbia's 15 minutes of fame are up.
Serbia is saying we need to focus on putting these Albanians in their place and the rest of the world is saying what are we going to do about Libya.
Outside of Serbia the subject is only space fillers in some news agencies and a few opinion pieces.

So, a court dismissed Thaci's case because of Marty's immunity, or Thaci simply decided it wasn't worth filing the case "because of Marty's immunity"? Hmmm, interesting. Is there no way around this darned immunity? If only Thaci had his day in court, this dark cloud over Thaci and Kosova could be lifted. Damned be the law!

I don't know mms, if you find a way around this darned immunity, please let Thaci know. The last word on this was Thaci's who said that he is younger than Marty and can wait until Marty is not protected by the immunity anymore.

Boring day in Serbia?

Definitely not for all the albanians who enjoy posting comments on B92. I hope you brought enough drinks for everyone...
