Tell that to the EU, they are the ones pushing Pristina to have these talks, but if Albanians in Kosovo can live off fresh air who am I to knock it.

Let's see the full sentence, not the part of it:

"Priština could show its democratic maturity by prosecuting those responsible for war crimes against ethnic non-Albanians, he explained."

In other words you say, that those responsible for war crimes against non-Albanians should be not prosecuted? If that's the case - that would't sound very pretty.

"We need to know what we will be getting, as one side in the negotiations, what the Serbs will get apart from cell phone service and license plates," Vučić believes.

Clowns in belgrade are on drugs. You will get NOTHING. We expect to get NOTHING as well.

These talks will fail; when was the last time anyone compromised with a Serb? Unless we bring a gun to their head, these clown will not back down from the heroin oral history of Serbian knights or something about 9th or 14th century.

Seriously, no talks!!

Thanks,

Serbia- Compromise as long as the Serbian constitution is not violated and Kosovo to stay within Serbia.

Kosova- Compromise as long as the Kosovar constituiton is not violated and for Kosova to stay independent as it is now.

What is it to talk about when the sides cannot agree to recognize each other ?

Mutual recognition should be an condition to begin the dialoug.

And, as ever, KA posters here prove that the word 'compromise' just isn't in their vocabulary. This time, though, I don't think that the old tactic of threats of violence will work. Thaci is a marked man. Everyone knows he can control events. And if he doesn't? Well, it would seem that there will be a jail cell waiting for him somewhere. It seems like everyone in Europe is finally fed up with KA blackmail and intransigence. Hopefully, a real solution to this mess will now be found.

As for you, Ivan, you are as tedious and pathetic as Joe. Take your petty nationalist hang-ups elsewhere.

Not even this one you will get, since you make it sound like a done deal. If Kosova team agrees on this, they will be out of the office in no time, since they will violate Kosova Constitution.Dreams are good for some people.

I laugh at how this guy is in his trying to apply pressure, as if anyoen cares. Hahaha. No talks, Thaci's government made of Serbs, Roma, Bosniaks and Turks will fail in a few weeks and Pacollovic is going away.

Just read a story by Azem Vllasi who said Albanians should not start negotiations until Serbia changes its constitution, and he's right. Serb government had a joined session with so called 'republika srpska', but they want Kosovo who until now been recognized by 75 countries, among them most powerful world countries.
Serbs are using Kosovo as a mean to join EU, otherwise Serbia won't join EU that easy.

Maturity .... isn't this what Ms Citaku told Mr Jeremic at the latest UN-council meeting.

For all those (= Serbs) who think that the status will be negociated, they will come back from an empty voyage.

Only and only in your Serbian propaganda machine (B92, Blic, Tanjug, Serbian government site, ...) there is discussion of the status. Now where else you can find this topic on any political level/agenda (EU or as individual EU-countries).

Keep hanging on to that string Serbia, you are making my and the Albanians/Illyriers day.
