Albanian way of doing things is so far off course than how matters are handled in Europe, that a snowball has a bigger chance in hell, than Albanians in the EU. Albanians never even admit their own crimes, how in the world can they ever be a just and law abiding society? Stay where you are, Albanians, in the hell hole you and your western overlords have created for you.

What is the smokescreen being put up by Serbia, anyone guess it.
Since the UN has 3 mandated programs in place to investigate these allegations, it is extremely unlikely that a 4th will be created. And if it was who would it be comprised of, more than likely a mixture of the same people involved in the 3 already. There is no possiblilty that an investigative source outside of this will be created. Also by continually accusing the UN and the Hague of coverup, I am curious to find out who Serbia thinks has the jurisdiction to investigate this matter if not the UN or the EU.
The allegations while of a horrific nature are not anymore horrific than crimes already uncovered in the balkan wars. The torture, rape, murder is the same whether for personal satisfaction or for money.
The possible number of victims which has trended down to the possiblility of a few from hundreds and thousands, over the course of a few months, when compared to the human rights abuses occuring everywhere in the world today does not justify the creation of a "special" task force, when you have 2 capable in place. EULEX and or the Hague. I would lean more for extending the mandate of the ICTY to further investigate all criminal activities in the former Yugoslavia, they still have unfinished cases that would have to be handed off anyway.
So what is the smokescreen? Easy since there have been 4 investigations now, Hague, UNMIK, EULEX, and now Marty, and no substantiated proof has been uncovered. (Marty's investigation is based of uncollaborated witness statements) the chances of there ever being an indictment against any individual much less a conviction are practically nil. The Serbian govt must win favor with the Serbian people by playing the we must stick together because the world is against us card. Translated into we are doing everything possible to protect our people so when you go to the polls in a few months we must remain in control.

Smokescreen doesn't seem to know or care that those who accuse Thaci/Haradinaj and co. of crimes disappear, end up dead or have their families threatened until witnesses refuse to testify. EULEX and other investigating authorities have complained about this on a number of occasions. There is no place in Europe who think such behavior is normal.

He added that it would not be reasonable to leave the proceedings solely in the hands of EULEX and Serbian and Albanian judiciary.

wow, where did you get the idea that Serbian judiciary will take part in this investigation? Serbia was the one that made up these B.S. allegations, and you excpect to be part of investigation, no chance in hell.

"Vekaric assessed that there was a “real political conflict over the crimes” and expressed concern that pressures coming from the Kosovo government could compromise EULEX's work on the case."

Pressure from Kosovo government on EULEX? It's mor vice versa. Of course, it's possible there will be some of the usual threats and 'helpers lists' published by King Thaci, so that EULEX employees have to fear for their lives and don't investigate in the case like they are supposed to be...
