"Albani" is probably just a Serb looking to create mischief. If he/she were truly Albanian and looking to offer up an example of well-known American actors of Albanian extraction, the Belushi brothers or Eliza Dushku were easy (and legitimate) options.

Maybe Clooney does have a shred of Albanian ancestry but according to Milovan Djilas, Tito acuatually had some Montenegrin blood but who ever talks about that?

Sour grapes from dave and albano. Belgrade has a long distinguished pedigree for music and the art's. That includes filmaking. The Milosevic years were an unfortunate aberation.
What the hell do Albania and Albanian dominated Kosovo have to do with that? Pathetic. You people never miss an opportunity to score cheap political points.

I'm glad Serbia is regaining its prestige. There are many very good films coming out of this country also and some winning awards.

A very big welcome to Mr Fiennes. I was wondering why there were so many cameras at Nikola Tesla airport the other day and then out comes Mr Fiennes.

And so another 10 days of the region's largest and most varied film festival begins.

Its so good to have this culture on one's doorstep. No offence to anybody else, but I wouldn't live anywhere else in the Balkans.

Excuse me whilst I examine which films to go and see...

What is Fiennes doing in Belgrade? He should come to Kosova and Albania. We have one of the best festivals of film of the world. Albanian film is world famous. We have many good actors and directors. George Cloney is actually Albanian.
(Albani, 26 February 2011 10:00)

Yes, your world famous films are legendary amongst the New York pizza makers and delivery boys.
I believe that George comes from that famous Irish branch of Clooney Albanians.
