There is a real danger in Egypt that history may be repeating itself again.

A few months after the revolution of 1952, the Egyptian military banned all political parties and inaugurated the dictatorship that has lasted until this very moment.

There is a strong possibility that " revolutions'" in Arab/ Muslim capitals might end up with new despots in charge , who would once again treat common people like dirt. New faces ...old rules... and that's about it.

The major difference between the revolution of 1952 and 2011 is whereas the former was about getting rid of colonial powers the latter is about basic freedoms and above anything else food on the table and this is what ,i think,is going to tip the revolution in favour of the protesters.
