"Interesting how there are no Albanians here condemning this mufti for his political involvement.
When you hear a Serbian priest say anything in defense of his people in Kosovo he is labeled a racist and should not mix religion with politics. Here is a very outspoken and obviously hateful man trying to incite violence against even one of his own if they don't town the strict Muslim line and no Albanian is demanding that he stop mixing religion with politics.

But then, we all know how our resident Albanians here are hypocritical.
Peggy"

Peggy, it's useless to respond to your ridiculous posts but I'll go ahead anyway.

It's been said before on this forum by Albanians that this guy is a loose canon. It's also been said that mixing politics and religion could result in a toxic potion...as we've seen in the past and continue to see.

Zurkolic should stick to doing god's work on earth and leave politics to others. The Serb orthodox church should butt out of politics as well. We've all see how much good that has done for the region in the past.

There might be something to the claim that she is monopolizing the NGO sector in Sandzak, not allowing alternative views to be heard. If she has a grievance against the Mufti, it is not right that the entire civil society should be forced to support this grievance. She falls into the easy path of turning a personal vendetta into political policy. Such an agenda only increases the disenfranchisement of the local population.

"Zukorlić has called her “a hater of her own culture and everything that is Muslim”.

I'm all in favor of those people having equal rights. Zurkolic is a radical and his methods are a counteract to the Serb Orthodox Church which is radical.

You reap what you sew.
As far as his comments to Ms. Corovic that she's a hater of her culture and everything that is Muslim it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that he's misusing his post.

Just because she's not in favor of wearing a hijab it doesn't mean she hates everything Muslim. And what culture is he talking about?

It's actually a good thing that Zukorlic is as mad as he is. He wants his own little Iran and he wants it NOW, and he's happy to threaten anyone that gets in his way. This won't buy him sympathy anywhere except the terrorism-exporting states that sponsor him. A more subtle provocation would be a lot more effective and dangerous.

"He said in a written statement that Serbia would stop everybody who was threatening and jeopardizing the safety of its citizens.

Zukorlić has stated that the president’s support is a “non-statesmanlike, irresponsible and biased” attitude."

This Zukorlić is an absolute, utter pillock and goose.

I have been watching this Mufti speaches on youtube and other media and am surprised that he is not imprisoned yet! He is clearly an politician who is hiding behind confessional robe, peddling some dubious agenda and stirring trouble for his own gain. He is clearly abusing freedom of speach act and enticing violence. Surely even a half state like Serbia can distinguish right from wrong and put this scum where he belongs - jail.
