A "neutral American" who just happens - by pure chance - to hew to the Serbian line. Sure.
(Amer, 22 February 2011 17:30)

I didn't "hew" whatsoever. I was simply stating what I felt was better for BOTH sides. I honestly feel that the Albanians in Kosovo would live better if re-integrated. They will first have to put their criminals behind bars. Serbs will do the same. Next all the sane people will be able to live in peace. So instead of denying that there are Albanian criminals, do something about it. They are harming innocent Albanians just as much as they are any other people.

You're right, crime and corruption cannot be tolerated but Serbia is trying to do something about both. Surely you can give them some credit.
Albanians on the other hand just keep denying that they are capable of any crime or corruption. They scream "we want proof" all the time hoping that no proof will even be found. That's because they think they have covered their tracks well.

Serbia has jailed many of their own for crimes and corruption already. No country has 100% success, not even the great US. I think you can apply the same logic to your country as well and maybe then you will appreciate the effort Serbia has put into this.

Please don't paint the two with the same brush. Albanians and Serbs in general are very different, although we both have our criminals. Some of us are prepared to admit we have them and try to put them away, and some are not. Big difference, don't you think?

I remember speculating along similar lines some time ago and being whined at by Albanian nationalists, but based on my own, admittedly anecdotal, experiences these figures would apply to the British too. Actually, amongst ordinary squaddies who've served in Kosovo, the figures probably nearer 100% pro-Serb.

The Albanians are not their own best advertisement: one of the problems of "Albanianism" is that it leads to an unrealistically positive self-image. This, as much as lack of experience, explains the continued political and diplomatic cluelessness of the Kosovan government. They honestly believe others see them as they see themselves.

For the US diplomatic body, about 75% are on the "Serbian side". When it comes to military and police personell, its even more, I would say 90%. Period.

Very impressive percentages. Did you conjure them up all by yourself or is there a method .

Frankly not Surprised

Only in B92 do you see such blatant yellow press. Are all editors and journals in B92 payroll hard core ultra-nationalists?

Your vote has been recorded thank you for participating.

Only in B92 do you see albanians whinging that a serb media organisation doesn't suck non-stop from the albanio-phile teat of western propaganda! WTF do you expect when you peddle such views as an albanian nationalist? Should B92 editors come and visit you and lick your face like a dog because of the deep, warm and intelligent contributions you make to the b92 forum? The only reason you are here is because your albo press is so utterly lame and boring that you think you'll have some easy fun at the serb's expense. Get. a. clue. If you are as you claim 'independent', then why are you so desperate to impress your alien views upon a different country, or in b92's case do you actually do this because you consider your self a citizen of serbia when it suits you?

Hahaha..my dear Amer. You must be living in Kosovo to believe this nonsense. I have worked with Americans for about 15 years on a weekly basis and to tell you the truth, cross my heart and whole family; For the US diplomatic body, about 75% are on the "Serbian side". When it comes to military and police personell, its even more, I would say 90%. Period.

As a neutral on this topic it is becoming more and more obvious that the best thing for both the Kosovo Serbs and Albanians would be a re-integration. The Kosovo Albanians just can't govern themselves and don't show any initiative to put their guilty in prison. And if these criminals continue to run Kosovo then they will be causing more harm to the Albanians. I think if both sides would admit their crimes and punish those that are responsible, then everyone could live in peace. On top of all this both Serbia and Kosovo Albanians need to get corruption under control. Get both corrupted officials out on both sides and peace and better living could be in reach.
