Because they dont need to; all of Kosovo is already part of Serbia
(John, 23 February 2011 19:20)

John, I totally agree with you, sorry my comment was just meant as a way of comparing the seemingly blind acceptance of the K Alb UDI and the hypocrisy of those who accept that and their stance on the plight of Serbs within Kosovo's "multi ethnic and tolerant new order"

Jovan

pre 13 godina

"Feith also said there was "still influence of Belgrade in northern Kosovo""

Feith fails to understand that this kind of rhetoric shows his approach is the one of the western occupiers.

it would be nearer to the truth to write that foreign powers have still influence in southern Serbia.

anyway, all of Kosovo is serbian territory, and you are an alien element, mr.Feith.

the sooner you leave, the better it is!

John

So, why cant the Serbs in the North declare UDI and then align themselves back to Serbia?
If it is legal for the K Albs then why not for anyone else across the globe to do exactly the same?

I think not! Albanians can't run a society. Look at Albania! Look at Kosovo!

(MikeC, 22 February 2011 19:52)

The above is a very simplistic summary of a commonly themed Serbian propoganda reel. Albanians are the oldest, longest running population in the Balkans, I think they must possess some sort or organizational skill. I hope!
(Dibrani, 23 February 2011 08:03)

Yeah, organizational skills in clandestine activities and in organ harvesting en masse.

"iowe,

here we go again, first of all that was my opinion...I don't represent all of Kosovo or all Kosovars. Secondly, who do you think runs Serbia? You ever think your leaders will ever repay all the IMF loans?

Thanks,
(KOSO, 22 February 2011 23:40)"

So you stated your opinion ..... am I also not entitled to give mine?

As for who is running Serbia, it should be the government in Belgrade and not the IMF as you seem to imply. By the way, I am not from Serbia. I am not even from the Balkans.

Faith is yours (and you're his)

pre 13 godina

This man is not dumb and he know that he'll not be successful in his aim. Serbs have no reason to trade off the good living for no living at all.
At the end of his mandate he'll shift the burden of his failure to the Kosovo leadership claiming ties of political power throughout and organize crime.
Mr. Faith, for selfish reason, could very easy become the biggest opposition to the Kosovo Independence due absence of any goals achievements.

Michael

pre 13 godina

Mr. Feith: If you want to "win Serbs over", you could begin by condemning and correcting an outrageous act by Pristina, namely their blockade of phone service to Gracanica and other Serb communities in areas controlled by the Albanians. These are relatively remote areas that have been cut off from outside communication: how can you remain silent and justify it. Do you really think you can win anybody over by allowing this to continue. Mubarek shut off the internet and received appropriate condemnation, but you allow this blockade to continue. You are showing your true colors, sir.

A couple of months extension of his job is hardly a ringing endorsement, unless he means by 'winning over' the serbs he will give them special badges to wear and make them live behind barbed wire until they do what they are told.

This looser's flight home is already booked. He can then write his autobiography about his 'success' in Kosovo and how his extensive dining out has singularly kept the economy in Kosovo afloat.

"Send all these EU clowns back home. In Kosovo we have a saying, "Evropa eshte k*rve". It's the truth, it was the London Conference of 1912 that gave Kosovo as a gift to Serbs. As I said, all these clowns should be sent home and let Ambassador Dell do all the talking; he seems to be the only one with a brain and ability to produce.

I don't understand why we are aligning with EU. Under EU we will have zero tariffs, considering that the Kosovar budget is 70% from imports (tariffs) this would hurt our economy and people. It's time for Kosovo's future to align with United States of America not wh*re EU.

You actually think you guys have any power to "Send all these EU clowns back home"???? Now, that's naivety of the highest order! Don't you realize that the EU are your masters now? That's what supervised independence really means, my dear. And you don't order your masters to leave on a whim. On the contrary, they can stay in Kosovo and keep you guys on a leash for as long as they like. And frankly, I think the Yankees are secretly happy (and relieved!) about the arrangment. it would be nearer to the truth to write that foreign powers have still influence in southern Serbia.

anyway, all of Kosovo is serbian territory, and you are an alien element, mr.Feith.

the sooner you leave, the better it is!

Because they dont need to; all of Kosovo is already part of Serbia

John, I totally agree with you, sorry my comment was just meant as a way of comparing the seemingly blind acceptance of the K Alb UDI and the hypocrisy of those who accept that and their stance on the plight of Serbs within Kosovo's "multi ethnic and tolerant new order"
