"Let's start from the beginning. I have a question to Albanians: What's your point in considering and emphasizing yourself as descendants of one or all Illyrian tribes?
Olli"

Not sure I get your question but I'll try to answer anyway.

It's common knowledge that Albanians are descendants of Illyrians (not if you ask Serbs but that's another conversation).

An average Albanian doesn't emphasize that they're descendants of Illyrians unless they're talking about their ancestry just like most other nations/peoples do.

Shall we try solving something here?

"Anyone notice how Serbia deals with Kosovo through its Foreign Affairs Ministry? You would think it would be the Internal Affairs Ministry, since Kosovo is Serbia??
(Ptoleme, 20 February 2011 06:21)"

I think that's because the people REALLY in charge of Kosovo are the likes of EU (via EULEX), UNMIK and KFOR. That's what "supervised independence" means to me -- you are not really your own masters but instead can be supervised by the foreigners forever with no end in sight.

“Time to resolve conflict in Kosovo”

What conflict? The only issue is Belgrade.

Who's the one blocking Kosovo's exports? belgrade

Who is sponsoring "parallel institutions"? belgrade

Who is at all costs blocking Kosovo's integration with intergovernmental organizations? belgrade

Who burned down Kosovo's borders? belgrade

Who stamps over Kosovo's stamps? belgrade

.... ETC ... The issue lies with belgrade not Pristina, we have nothing to resolve unless you recognize Kosovo as your equal. Full stop.

Thanks,

I think the title should read more like:"Time to Resolve Conflict between Serbia and Kosovo." Because the conflict inside Kosovo is caused by stand of Belgrade towards Kosovo-Serbians and Albanians.

“... any agreement that would not be contrary to national interests,” he said.

What is the Serbia's national interest and what is Kosovo's national interest? Can someone with a bit of knowledge "clarify" it to us?

Without Serbia recognising Kosovo independece first, the talks will be another waste of time...I hope and wish I am wrong.
