Sorry, got the Massacre wrong, the 83 were killed as a result of the Nato Bombardment on refugee convoys, however, I was referring to the 68 Killed at Markovac by the KLA under the command of Rrustem Mustafa. Sources: J. Steele Guardian article July 1999 and Serbian Archives; It was also cited in a BBC program.
The other KLA Massacres of Albanians include.
45 at Kotlina
39 at Kacanik
34 at Glodjane (Likely under Hardinaj's command)
30 at Djakovica (bombed by Nato under KLA direction)
22 at Klecka (Under Ceku's Command)
7 at Kosovo Polje
5 at Gologovac
4 at Decani (possibly in combat)
1 Suad Qorraj murdered by Hardinaj himself
There were also 420 Albanians (KFOR investigations showed most of them to be loyalists) murdered from June 1999 - June 2000 after KLA occupation
and 65 in Pec, 30 of which have been found, Under either Hardinash or Drini's orders

Let's take a look.
KLA started its campaign by killing 8 women and children who were refugees from Croatia. And they kept fighting. And we know who was supporting these guys. Here is one picture taken in 1997.

KLA continued its attacks until it forced Yugoslavian security forces to take out their strongholds in spring operations in 1998. KLA was on the run and in Albania.
UN came into action with several resolutions. You are talking about 4, but there were 3.
Was it passed to "stop Serbian violence in Kosovo" as you say?
"Condemning the use of excessive force by Serbian police forces against

According to this UN resolution there was an "excessive use of force" by Serbian police, but also "acts of terrorism
by the Kosovo Liberation Army" which you somehow missed.
Resolution also "Affirming the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia."
Page 2 of the resolution.
"1. Calls upon the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia immediately to take the
further necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue and to implement the actions indicated in the Contact Group
statements of 9 and 25 March 1998;
2. Calls also upon the Kosovar Albanian leadership to condemn all
terrorist action, and emphasizes that all elements in the Kosovar Albanian

Milosevic acted upon 1. he invited Ibrahim Rugova to direct talks "necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue"
Rugova refused to talk about anything except independence.

Ceasefire was brokered.
Two more UN resolutions were passed to allow for OSCE Verification Mission to enter Kosovo and verify end of hostilities.
Those resolutions were UN 1199 (Sep 23 1998)
Armed forces returned to "their regular duties" as it was demanded. OSCE Mission came in.

I suspect that the whole ceasefire deal was only there to give KLA a break.
Milosevic maybe did not want to stop violance, but KLA certainly didn't.
On December 15 1998 31 Albanians were killed on the border crossing, while they were smuggling weapons. Same day 6 Serbian youngsters were killed in caffe bar "Panda" in Pec (by unknown perpertrators).
In "Panda" case Walker condemned the attack but stressed he is not condemning KLA, as nobody was sure it was work of KLA.
In "borderfight" case "perpertrators" were known. He strongly condemned Yugoslavian Army for "leaving the barracks in violation of ceasefire agreement. Action that lead to loss of life."
Serbian leadership argued that ambush was made by Border Patrol units on "their regular duties" (which is not te be in barracks, but to patrol the border) as text of resolution called for.
In fact, it was the KLA that violated resolution, ones again.
"Condemning all acts of violence by any party, as well as terrorism in
pursuit of political goals by any group or individual, and all external support
for such activities in Kosovo, including the supply of arms and training for
terrorist activities in Kosovo, and expressing concern at the reports of
continuing violations of the prohibitions imposed by resolution 1160 (1998)"

This story was repeated many times.
And since, ceasefire wasn't holding, because it was violated by KLA, and since there was no political dialogue because Albanian leadership didn't want to talk at all, NATO decided to bomb Serbia!

In 2000 British Parliamentary Committee have finished its report on pre-bombing time in Kosovo. It concluded that total number of deaths in Kosovo was around 2000, only narrowly more Albanians than Serbs.

Wrong. Most of Albanians were also killed by KLA. They were considered "collaborators" with Serbian authorities, and killed for being in government jobs and trying to feed their families. Mailmen, forest rangers, etc.
Report concluded that MAJORITY of civilian victims were victims of KLA.

There are several problems with that
1. There arent 6 Million Albanians in Kosovo and Never was (there arent even 6 Million Albanians in Albania).
2. There Were Albanians fighting in the Yugoslav Army

I believe the final tally was 2500-3000. Many of which were KLA terrorists/'freedom fighters'. I can't even guess how many were killed by KLA for not joining their camp (Albanians have claimed this). a new day is suggesting that preemptive strikes are good by nature. without sufficient proof simply saying something like "before the crime we'll arrest you" is very orwellian. i'm happy that you feel lack of justification is justified, so then it should be against thachi too right? even after nato interventions, many reports have shown that there was no policy of ethnic cleansing, which is what nato claimed. when a reality is built upon false foundation that reality isn't very stable.
this in no way means that kosovo should belong to serbia, nor does it mean that it should be free. that is tangential to the serious issue of "claim and truth". nato bomb serbia relentlessly on a claim of ethnic cleansing. the truth as it has evolved is that orders of magnitude more ethnic serbs have been removed, peacefully and violently from kosovo than have ethnic albanians.
at the end of the day all surviving members would like to close these chapters of their lives, and all should be, but it is likely that fewer and fewer will get this closure that they so sorely desire as time goes on.
the issue at hand is weather accusations are enough to incriminate, and take action, either political or militaristic. in short the answer must be no. in a democratically slanted country and international organizations it is unconscionable to proceed with aggression when there has been no solid evidence, no real proof, simply speculation and hearsay. for in a democratic system innocence is assumed before guilt and the size of the presumed guilt is not relevant no matter how much a bleeding heart wants to claim it is. once cannot be held accountable to something that one didn't do. planning is also not sufficient because most every nation, group and person has a variety of contingency plans, and some of those are extreme outliers that fall into the 1% of 1% case. plans that are just envisioned without a serious attempt at implementation. every country has plans for such cases. america has plans to deal with each and every country, and each and every state, or sub organization if said collection displays words or actions that go against america's initiatives and direction. america is not alone in this. england is ready in case scotland wants to make waves. canada is ready if quebec does. and some of these plans that have only seen the light of a room behind closed doors involve violence and sanctions (neo-liberal violence -- we didn't do anything to them, they starved themselves by not listening).
so, back to the original point. if you can prove that milosevic had a plot, or was implementing a plot to clear kosovo of its ethnic albanian population without resorting to the tired and old propaganda, i'll accept it. if you can provide marty's evidence against thachi, demonstrating that he was involved with organ trading, drug ring, human trading, prostitution, and whatever dark bad things a mafia does (part of the accusation), i'll accept that too.
i am 100% certain that there are very few, if any, clean leaders from that era and region, but that doesn't mean they are dirty because i don't have any proof other than what i've heard from various coworkers and acquaintances from the various regions of the balkans. i have no proof, nor have i seen any, that would irrefutably put some of the bigger fish away.

With absolutely no evidence to show for his two years of "investigating", Marty's days of credibility are numbered, along with Switzerland's reputation. It is clear that the accusations of organ trading are just another example of the unscrupulous methods used by Serbia, historically, to discredit others and divert attention away from her "indiscretions". If there was any truth to the story, then some sort of evidence would have been found by now! This is the reason Serbia will have to wait a very long time before being allowed to join the EU. Serbia simply does not have a European perspective.

Maybe the convictions from not only the Hague but your own Serbian courts for war crimes might be a start, then any number of the mass graves uncovered might further it along. In my report it stands that Marty together with Milosevic carved up human organs from albanian and serb innocent victims. I have witnesses but they won't talk to anyone and the evidence I had were burned down in Belgrade by Milosevic gang. I have people who have told ´me about the ''Kraljevo group'' and how they transplanted illegal organs with Marty being the leader of the group.

Maybe the still missing Albanians met their doom at the hands of the KLA? Maybe they were the independent voices that did not side with Thaci, and were eliminated? Their are well established claims that the KLA killed their own brother Albanians if they did not support the separatist movement. Let's wait and see what evidence is presented in future trials, before we jump to conclusions. I know that many Albanians here counter claims of KLA atrocities, with claims of Serbian atrocities, but that leads to no where. I hope all sides will find the peace that they deserve.

KLA started its campaign by killing 8 women and children who were refugees from Croatia. And they kept fighting. And we know who was supporting these guys. Here is one picture taken in 1997.

KLA continued its attacks until it forced Yugoslavian security forces to take out their strongholds in spring operations in 1998. KLA was on the run and in Albania.
UN came into action with several resolutions. You are talking about 4, but there were 3.
Was it passed to "stop Serbian violence in Kosovo" as you say?
"Condemning the use of excessive force by Serbian police forces against
civilians and peaceful demonstrators in Kosovo, as well as all acts of terrorism
by the Kosovo Liberation Army or any other group or individual and all external
support for terrorist activity in Kosovo, including finance, arms and training."
According to this UN resolution there was an "excessive use of force" by Serbian police, but also "acts of terrorism
by the Kosovo Liberation Army" which you somehow missed.
Resolution also "Affirming the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia."
Page 2 of the resolution.
"1. Calls upon the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia immediately to take the
further necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue and to implement the actions indicated in the Contact Group
statements of 9 and 25 March 1998;
2. Calls also upon the Kosovar Albanian leadership to condemn all
terrorist action, and emphasizes that all elements in the Kosovar Albanian
community should pursue their goals by peaceful means only;"
Milosevic acted upon 1. he invited Ibrahim Rugova to direct talks "necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue"
Rugova refused to talk about anything except independence.

Ceasefire was brokered.
Two more UN resolutions were passed to allow for OSCE Verification Mission to enter Kosovo and verify end of hostilities.
Those resolutions were UN 1199 (Sep 23 1998)
Armed forces returned to "their regular duties" as it was demanded. OSCE Mission came in.

Notice how Army withdrew, and KLA moved forward, and what Agim Ceku said.
I suspect that the whole ceasefire deal was only there to give KLA a break.
Milosevic maybe did not want to stop violance, but KLA certainly didn't.
On December 15 1998 31 Albanians were killed on the border crossing, while they were smuggling weapons. Same day 6 Serbian youngsters were killed in caffe bar "Panda" in Pec (by unknown perpertrators).
In "Panda" case Walker condemned the attack but stressed he is not condemning KLA, as nobody was sure it was work of KLA.
In "borderfight" case "perpertrators" were known. He strongly condemned Yugoslavian Army for "leaving the barracks in violation of ceasefire agreement. Action that lead to loss of life."
Serbian leadership argued that ambush was made by Border Patrol units on "their regular duties" (which is not te be in barracks, but to patrol the border) as text of resolution called for.
In fact, it was the KLA that violated resolution, ones again.
"Condemning all acts of violence by any party, as well as terrorism in
pursuit of political goals by any group or individual, and all external support
for such activities in Kosovo, including the supply of arms and training for
terrorist activities in Kosovo, and expressing concern at the reports of
continuing violations of the prohibitions imposed by resolution 1160 (1998)"

This story was repeated many times.
And since, ceasefire wasn't holding, because it was violated by KLA, and since there was no political dialogue because Albanian leadership didn't want to talk at all, NATO decided to bomb Serbia!

In 2000 British Parliamentary Committee have finished its report on pre-bombing time in Kosovo. It concluded that total number of deaths in Kosovo was around 2000, only narrowly more Albanians than Serbs.
Still....majority of civilians were killed by Serbs, right?
Wrong. Most of Albanians were also killed by KLA. They were considered "collaborators" with Serbian authorities, and killed for being in government jobs and trying to feed their families. Mailmen, forest rangers, etc.
Report concluded that MAJORITY of civilian victims were victims of KLA.

I believe the final tally was 2500-3000. Many of which were KLA terrorists/'freedom fighters'. I can't even guess how many were killed by KLA for not joining their camp (Albanians have claimed this). @Terry-Why did EU and US turn blind eye, you ask. Good reason, it is much simple then investigate. Serbs victim did not matter much and mocking Serbs was actually fashionable. Serbs were screaming for truth as who and why started Kosovo war, but Albanian propaganda was organized so well that Serbs stood no chance.
As for those screaming for proof of Tachi's crimes, they will come in time. They are catching Serbs even when someone points the finger and keep them for years w/no proof and that is OK, right?
With absolutely no evidence to show for his two years of "investigating", Marty's days of credibility are numbered, along with Switzerland's reputation. It is clear that the accusations of organ trading are just another example of the unscrupulous methods used by Serbia, historically, to discredit others and divert attention away from her "indiscretions". If there was any truth to the story, then some sort of evidence would have been found by now! This is the reason Serbia will have to wait a very long time before being allowed to join the EU. this in no way means that kosovo should belong to serbia, nor does it mean that it should be free. that is tangential to the serious issue of "claim and truth". nato bomb serbia relentlessly on a claim of ethnic cleansing. the truth as it has evolved is that orders of magnitude more ethnic serbs have been removed, peacefully and violently from kosovo than have ethnic albanians.
at the end of the day all surviving members would like to close these chapters of their lives, and all should be, but it is likely that fewer and fewer will get this closure that they so sorely desire as time goes on.
the issue at hand is weather accusations are enough to incriminate, and take action, either political or militaristic. in short the answer must be no. in a democratically slanted country and international organizations it is unconscionable to proceed with aggression when there has been no solid evidence, no real proof, simply speculation and hearsay. for in a democratic system innocence is assumed before guilt and the size of the presumed guilt is not relevant no matter how much a bleeding heart wants to claim it is. once cannot be held accountable to something that one didn't do. planning is also not sufficient because most every nation, group and person has a variety of contingency plans, and some of those are extreme outliers that fall into the 1% of 1% case. plans that are just envisioned without a serious attempt at implementation. every country has plans for such cases. america has plans to deal with each and every country, and each and every state, or sub organization if said collection displays words or actions that go against america's initiatives and direction. america is not alone in this. england is ready in case scotland wants to make waves. canada is ready if quebec does. and some of these plans that have only seen the light of a room behind closed doors involve violence and sanctions (neo-liberal violence -- we didn't do anything to them, they starved themselves by not listening).
so, back to the original point. if you can prove that milosevic had a plot, or was implementing a plot to clear kosovo of its ethnic albanian population without resorting to the tired and old propaganda, i'll accept it. if you can provide marty's evidence against thachi, demonstrating that he was involved with organ trading, drug ring, human trading, prostitution, and whatever dark bad things a mafia does (part of the accusation), i'll accept that too.
i am 100% certain that there are very few, if any, clean leaders from that era and region, but that doesn't mean they are dirty because i don't have any proof other than what i've heard from various coworkers and acquaintances from the various regions of the balkans. i have no proof, nor have i seen any, that would irrefutably put some of the bigger fish away.

The "premptive" strikes were neither an overnight decision nor a surpise. There were 4 UNSC resolutions passed over a years time trying to stop the Serbia violence in Kosovo, there were many, many, many, meetings with Milosevic to find a peaceful end.
Whether there was actual ethnic cleansing or not I guess depends on whether you believe the numbers have to be at 100,000 killed or 10,000 killed or wait until it hits 6 million. But for the sake of argument if it was only ethnically motivated murder, torture, displacement, rapes, and brutality, and not a "cleansing campaign", does that paint a prettier picture for you?

Maybe the convictions from not only the Hague but your own Serbian courts for war crimes might be a start, then any number of the mass graves uncovered might further it along. Just because intervention took place before the movement reached dynamic proportions does not mean it was not warranted.

Sorry, got the Massacre wrong, the 83 were killed as a result of the Nato Bombardment on refugee convoys, however, I was referring to the 68 Killed at Markovac by the KLA under the command of Rrustem Mustafa. Sources: J. Steele Guardian article July 1999 and Serbian Archives; It was also cited in a BBC program.
The other KLA Massacres of Albanians include.
45 at Kotlina
39 at Kacanik
34 at Glodjane (Likely under Hardinaj's command)
30 at Djakovica (bombed by Nato under KLA direction)

@Terry-Why did EU and US turn blind eye, you ask. Good reason, it is much simple then investigate. Serbs victim did not matter much and mocking Serbs was actually fashionable. Serbs were screaming for truth as who and why started Kosovo war, but Albanian propaganda was organized so well that Serbs stood no chance.

Resorting to crass threats and denials when faced with serious accusations generally implies you have something to hide. Those who are innocent should not fear the truth. Screaming about lack of evidence and smearing Marty with being a Serb apologist worthy of Goebbels, only justifies the suspicion that something truly evil happened to Serb and other prisoners who disappeared back in 1999. There are numerous images and testimony of the grisly deeds of KLA fighters during the attack on Serbia by NATO. It's time for Albanians to recognise that they have plenty of blood on their hands too.

1. There arent 6 Million Albanians in Kosovo and Never was (there arent even 6 Million Albanians in Albania).

the issue at hand is weather accusations are enough to incriminate, and take action, either political or militaristic. in short the answer must be no. in a democratically slanted country and international organizations it is unconscionable to proceed with aggression when there has been no solid evidence, no real proof, simply speculation and hearsay. for in a democratic system innocence is assumed before guilt and the size of the presumed guilt is not relevant no matter how much a bleeding heart wants to claim it is. once cannot be held accountable to something that one didn't do. planning is also not sufficient because most every nation, group and person has a variety of contingency plans, and some of those are extreme outliers that fall into the 1% of 1% case. plans that are just envisioned without a serious attempt at implementation. every country has plans for such cases. america has plans to deal with each and every country, and each and every state, or sub organization if said collection displays words or actions that go against america's initiatives and direction. america is not alone in this. england is ready in case scotland wants to make waves. canada is ready if quebec does. and some of these plans that have only seen the light of a room behind closed doors involve violence and sanctions (neo-liberal violence -- we didn't do anything to them, they starved themselves by not listening).
so, back to the original point. if you can prove that milosevic had a plot, or was implementing a plot to clear kosovo of its ethnic albanian population without resorting to the tired and old propaganda, i'll accept it. if you can provide marty's evidence against thachi, demonstrating that he was involved with organ trading, drug ring, human trading, prostitution, and whatever dark bad things a mafia does (part of the accusation), i'll accept that too.
i am 100% certain that there are very few, if any, clean leaders from that era and region, but that doesn't mean they are dirty because i don't have any proof other than what i've heard from various coworkers and acquaintances from the various regions of the balkans. i have no proof, nor have i seen any, that would irrefutably put some of the bigger fish away.
if you continue to spew propaganda it becomes the truth and perhaps that is what scares some people the most. not the truth, but the illusion of truth. as i can see, much of the rteailty of the balkans is veiled under an immense illusion of truth. sure there is truth sprinkled within the illusion, otherwise it would be to easy to see through it, but much of what is called 'fact' is in fact fiction. i will not venture into the reciprocal without being an agent of propaganda.
Of all the possible war crimes imaginable and committed by whoever in the wars of the Balkans (or anywhere else for that matter), nothing tops kidnapping, moving and torturing civilians and remove their organs to be sold on the black market. Many 'freedom fighters' or terrorists around the world that become politicians later have blood on their hands but this is unthinkable of being acceptable.
Well, you can find everything. More or less a single opinion, like any other. Believe it or not, there are even 'independent documentaries' that 'prove' that the lunar landing was a hoax - and millions of people believe in this conspiracy theory.

The "premptive" strikes were neither an overnight decision nor a surpise. There were 4 UNSC resolutions passed over a years time trying to stop the Serbia violence in Kosovo, there were many, many, many, meetings with Milosevic to find a peaceful end.
Whether there was actual ethnic cleansing or not I guess depends on whether you believe the numbers have to be at 100,000 killed or 10,000 killed or wait until it hits 6 million. But for the sake of argument if it was only ethnically motivated murder, torture, displacement, rapes, and brutality, and not a "cleansing campaign", does that paint a prettier picture for you?

I believe the final tally was 2500-3000. Many of which were KLA terrorists/'freedom fighters'. I can't even guess how many were killed by KLA for not joining their camp (Albanians have claimed this). Also how many of them died from the bombings themselves. So stop trying to use your false figures for more propoganda. But, I guess, he just kept on fighting? Wanting to resolve issue by force?
Let's take a look.
KLA started its campaign by killing 8 women and children who were refugees from Croatia. And they kept fighting. And we know who was supporting these guys. Here is one picture taken in 1997.

KLA continued its attacks until it forced Yugoslavian security forces to take out their strongholds in spring operations in 1998. KLA was on the run and in Albania.
UN came into action with several resolutions. You are talking about 4, but there were 3.

According to this UN resolution there was an "excessive use of force" by Serbian police, but also "acts of terrorism
by the Kosovo Liberation Army" which you somehow missed.
Resolution also "Affirming the commitment of all Member States to the sovereignty and
territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia."
Page 2 of the resolution.
"1. Calls upon the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia immediately to take the
further necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue and to implement the actions indicated in the Contact Group
statements of 9 and 25 March 1998;
2. Calls also upon the Kosovar Albanian leadership to condemn all
terrorist action, and emphasizes that all elements in the Kosovar Albanian
community should pursue their goals by peaceful means only;"
Milosevic acted upon 1. he invited Ibrahim Rugova to direct talks "necessary steps to achieve a political solution to the issue of Kosovo
through dialogue"
Rugova refused to talk about anything except independence.

Ceasefire was brokered.
Two more UN resolutions were passed to allow for OSCE Verification Mission to enter Kosovo and verify end of hostilities.
Those resolutions were UN 1199 (Sep 23 1998)
Armed forces returned to "their regular duties" as it was demanded. OSCE Mission came in.

I suspect that the whole ceasefire deal was only there to give KLA a break.
Milosevic maybe did not want to stop violance, but KLA certainly didn't.
On December 15 1998 31 Albanians were killed on the border crossing, while they were smuggling weapons. Same day 6 Serbian youngsters were killed in caffe bar "Panda" in Pec (by unknown perpertrators).
In "Panda" case Walker condemned the attack but stressed he is not condemning KLA, as nobody was sure it was work of KLA.
In "borderfight" case "perpertrators" were known. He strongly condemned Yugoslavian Army for "leaving the barracks in violation of ceasefire agreement. Action that lead to loss of life."
Serbian leadership argued that ambush was made by Border Patrol units on "their regular duties" (which is not te be in barracks, but to patrol the border) as text of resolution called for.
In fact, it was the KLA that violated resolution, ones again.
"Condemning all acts of violence by any party, as well as terrorism in
pursuit of political goals by any group or individual, and all external support
for such activities in Kosovo, including the supply of arms and training for
terrorist activities in Kosovo, and expressing concern at the reports of
continuing violations of the prohibitions imposed by resolution 1160 (1998)"

This story was repeated many times.
And since, ceasefire wasn't holding, because it was violated by KLA, and since there was no political dialogue because Albanian leadership didn't want to talk at all, NATO decided to bomb Serbia!
In order to stop KLA attacks, I guess.

In 2000 British Parliamentary Committee have finished its report on pre-bombing time in Kosovo. It concluded that total number of deaths in Kosovo was around 2000, only narrowly more Albanians than Serbs.
Still....majority of civilians were killed by Serbs, right?
Wrong. Most of Albanians were also killed by KLA. They were considered "collaborators" with Serbian authorities, and killed for being in government jobs and trying to feed their families. Mailmen, forest rangers, etc.
Report concluded that MAJORITY of civilian victims were victims of KLA.

Sorry, got the Massacre wrong, the 83 were killed as a result of the Nato Bombardment on refugee convoys, however, I was referring to the 68 Killed at Markovac by the KLA under the command of Rrustem Mustafa. Sources: J. Steele Guardian article July 1999 and Serbian Archives; It was also cited in a BBC program.

39 at Kacanik
34 at Glodjane (Likely under Hardinaj's command)
30 at Djakovica (bombed by Nato under KLA direction)
22 at Klecka (Under Ceku's Command)

There were also 420 Albanians (KFOR investigations showed most of them to be loyalists) murdered from June 1999 - June 2000 after KLA occupation
