I find it hillarious that there are some poor unfortunates that think the Vatican recognising Croatia , Slovenia and Bosnia somehow contributed to the war. Of course to these intellectual giants the wars of the 90's had nothing to do with 'greater serbian' fantasies , ethnic cleansing , muder rape and the right to self determination.

And the fact that somebody below actually linked Mother Theresa to the war was just too much.

Please continue , the rest of humanity are actually on the floor laughing at you. That whole "lets think things through" idea clearlly wasnt a priority for you was it?

You have a nice day now :)

The Vatican already is up to its elbows in blood over the Catholic countriy of Croatia. And since Croatia has been as big a player in robbing, killing and purging Serbs as the Albanians, the Vatican has nothing respectable to say about Kosovo. There is also the Albanian Mother Theresa who was instrumental in putting a fake human face on nationalism in Kosovo. The Vatican would like to see the Serbian Orthodoxy and its believers plowed under and its expressed unwillingness to recognize Kosovo is of no consequence.

That says it all: The Nunciature was accredited in Serbia by the Serbian government.

If the Vatican considers Kosovo as Serbia, why would there ever be a decision to have a different representative to cover Kosovo?
Of course I suppose they have someone to oversee like Canada and Texas.
Even appointing someone to oversee Kosovo separately could be seen as logical as a UN protectorate, but to have it matched with a totally different country may not be recognition as independent but is a huge recognition that it is not a part of Serbia!
Even matching it with Macedonia one could argue it was done for a physical reason, but with Slovenia is a political statement, no doubt.

Yes. They are installing them on all their male statutes, and the rest are being donated to the countries in Europe with the highest birth rate.

You are right Friar Tuc,but is not Europe, rather is/are; China and India are in dire need for condoms.

The Vatican position is very surprising given how they jumped too fast in recognizing Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina further exasperating the the war in 1992.

One plausible explanation is the vast catholic population that lives in South America as well as Spain who have not recognized the illegal state of Kosovo.

Another sign of a flourishing multi-ethnic democracy and peace.

Things are getting BETTER, for the lack of what a Serb might say in UN or any other organization.

Thanks,

Hasn't Vatican decide what to do with condoms yet?

I'd say the Vatican wants someone on the ground counting the number of mosques being built courtesy of the Saudi, Oman and Qatar recognition/funding.

It remains to be seen in very near future, if is diplomatic or not.
Serbs are still day dreaming. And,they are powerless to stop the unstoppable.

Meh, recognition by the vatican is not very important for kosovo anyway, a theocratic monarchy is a relic. but eventually they will. There are political sensitivities the vatican has to contend with, so on with the charade.

It is humorous to see someone with a diplomatic title, holding a diplomatic post, someone who is literally a diplomatic representative for the vatican as a state intended specifically for external politics , being assigned somewhere for "non" diplomatic reasons.

sigh...on with the show

I would not mind if the Albanians actually had something to offer, but all there is in Kosovo is 2 million mouths to feed.
By the way please change your tunes “…….are powerless to stop the unstoppable”….after 12 years it’s a tad tiresome.
