Sounds like somebody is cleaning house in Serbia in the wake of this organ stealing monstrosity. It is a good time to check in to the Serbian medical community to make sure this cannibalism is not taking place among Serbs.
6000 EUROS is way more than a 'coffee' , a few hundred dollars. These doctors need to be put in jail for 20 years. She already paid her insurance, now she has to pay 2 years salary or risk death because the doctors will not work the same??? They put a price in your life and don't pay them if you dare
Every doctor takes bribes, so will you arrest all of them?
Start in Subotica, then head to Novi Sad, then Belgrade, then Nis, and rinse and repeat.... arrest them all!

Subotica is just in the middle, Deki, not in the north.
There is not a single doctor and not a single nurse in Hungary who would not take the infamous "hálapénz" = "money of appreciation" as it is called here.
In Hungary that money is very small by American standards, by the way. The problem is, that some clinics are really horrible from professional point of view, some pretty good and it's not trivial to get to a "good" place. Usual things: you have to know someone who knows the right people in the right place.
Sounds probably pretty much like Serbia or Croatia - why the heck do we have borders at all?
