Times are hard, but the world's economic situation seems to be beginning to improve. What could be worse for an opposition politician? When the situation is seen to be noticeably better in Serbia, as it will with time, those in power could gain credibility that would last for entire election cycles - things must seem increasingly desperate to the outsiders. So let's turn the country upside down with a snap election! - even if the out-party doesn't win, it may confuse the issue enough to damage the in-party's reputation. It's not as though they're offering any useful suggestions, after all. Confusion for the sake of confusion - this is no Jasmine revolution, just a cynical political ploy.

I agree with what Nikolic is saying. I only wish it was another politician that was saying it. I don't really care for or trust this guy. And when I see the likes of Ilic addressing the crowd as an opposition member, my stomach turns. Serbia, like many nations around the world, could use a government change, but the alternatives are not that attractive.
