What a threat. If I were Tadic, I'd now wait as long as possible to call elections. On the other hand, given their party's roots, the histrionics come as no surprise.

Better yet, chain yourself to the rear bumper of a city tour bus and go on tour.
If you sit still with your eyes open or closed, you'll scare the children and the tourists and many will think you are dead and call the coroner.

I hope he brings some warm jackets with him. I wouldn't want the poor guy to get cold.

Poor helpless and clueless SNS!

You could take them message what they should be doing: the work of opposition in a democratic country. They should be controlling the acts of government and government parties, does government live up to its aims and promises, how government reacts to new issues.

The opposition, or at least its biggest party (if united opposition is an impossibility) should form a recognized "shadow government", offering the public alternative solutions and ways to decision making, in order to supply citizens measures to daily observe the workings of the government.

But for that you need brain, naturally. If you haven't got it all you can do is to call up mass gatherings where you can perform your mindless bogey politics -and finally sit down on the street and cry.

If you've got balls you can also set yourself in fire.

"It's not the streets where we want to topple the government. Nevertheless, I've got my piece of styrofoam and I'm going to sit on the street until the government falls". Tadic must be quaking in his boots.

Seriously, you have to wonder who is advising the SNS in all this. Opinion polls show them as largest single party, not a bad position to be mid-term, yet every new stunt makes them look more ridiculous and unelectable. Having the party leader living like a tramp on Terazije must be their stupidest idea yet.

Anyhow, if I'm passing I'll try to remember to buy him a cup of coffee or a sandwich. Don't give money though, it only encourages dependency.

What about pole-sitting? Maybe he could break the world record? Though, the maximal time is limited by the date of the regular elections next year :)
