According to S-Trolls on this site, there is no corruption in Serbia only in Kosova!!!(sic.)

Agim, I wasn't aware of this. Could you please show us a link to these comments which suggest that there is no corruption in Serbia.

40% is too much....at once. They should agree 4%-6% increase per year to match inflation (a formula) instead of a lump-sum increase of 40%.

There is simply no cash in the Serbian budget. Since there is a strike soon perhaps the minisiter of interior should reward the other 3/4 police that will be protecting the country? This is just food for thought.

Simple solution give them 40% then tax them at 44% and call it the magnificent state bureaucratic tax for state workers. Who produce nothing in - value want live off the hard working tax payers be a drain for them until they expire.

They want 40% hike in salary? Maybe they should stop stealing then, the cops are the most corrupt people out there, traffic cops taking the cake in everyday life!

'let's sit at home in Belgrade and wait for Lukaschenko to send us some free tractors. Sometimes people in this country are their own worst enemies.'

Agreed in principle.

But look at the alternative from the other side - sitting and waiting for free toxic hamburgers and laws restricting, or even forbidding, your access to herbal tea!

I'm interested as to what you think they should be doing. The battle for Kosovo is being fought in foreign capitals and international fora, not in pointless talks with second rate politicians who, having failed to win power in successive elections, decide they'll go and stand on trg instead. Brilliant. And the investment to get Serbia back to work, where does that come from? Oh yes, I forgot - let's sit at home in Belgrade and wait for Lukaschenko to send us some free tractors. Sometimes people in this country are their own worst enemies.

More selfishness coming from the police. The interior minister, Ivica Dačić, is engaged in very important business in Washington and must attend a luxurious breakfast with the president of the US of A (aka The Master). Surely they can't expect him to do that and look after the Serbian people at the same time?

Besides, there is another large protest scheduled. This is normally a time Tadic and his sell-outs leave the country to engage in very very important business abroad.
