Amer- For me ORTSBO gets the nuance/subtleties better in the foreign language. Also users can contribute to it's vocabulary and Translation by giving their local interpretations of slang etc. And it works on multiple platforms.

"Try ORTSBO. Much better then google translate. What a joke btw.
(Zeka, 3 February 2011 15:52)

So I went to try Orsbo, with the first paragraph at the Balkanweb site today - the result is the same as in Google - I wonder if they "borrowed" the translation engine and just repackaged it? BTW, the program(s) should take the use of capitalization into account to distinguish proper names - the head of state of Albania is not "President Ball" in English.

One advance of Google is that it offers a spoken version of text and translation. When it works a little better, it'll be a language-learner's dream come true. Even now, it's better than nothing for languages like Arabic, with less than stellar spoken-word dictionaries online. (And they're working on Georgian, believe it or not!)

Hint: if you want Google to read a list of words or expressions aloud, separate the items with " ... " to prevent it from trying to impose sentence intonation on the list and running everything together. The translation engine is weak on conjugations - trying to get it to do a paradigm (I announced ... you announced ... he announced) tends to be a somewhat hit-or-miss proposition. (E.g.: "он объявил ... Об этом она заявила" for "he announced ... she announced")

Zoran, I see you are confused. Can't blame you. Look, the person who wrote this article does not even know English:

"The clinic in Priština is illegal organ transplants allegedly took place."

Google translate maybe?

So where it says "evidence thrown out", it is probably "evidence not accepted". Where they say "evidence" it means "some objects supposed to prove something". So if it is not accepted it is not evidence. Where it says obtained illegally, it does not say anything else.

I will come out with a totally arbitrary number now, just making this up, feel free to correct me: 95% of the inter-ethnic killings in the past 20 years are indirectly due to this type of journalism and media.

When EULEX will start to pack in a few years, Serbs on this site who attack it now, will defend it as the best thing. Just as you did with UNMIK. And if Serbian media and government undermine its job and authority, it will pack sooner or later.

This is how it works. For Serbs; they can be imprisoned based on rumor and hearsay, but if it does not involved Serbs then its due process.
Get this “evidence was seized in an illegal search without a warrant”. How do you have due process in the wild, wild west? What a joke!

I am assuming you never heard of inadmissable evidence!? In Russia and China there is no such thing, but whatever state says it goes, with or without any evidence.

Agim, how do you know how it works in Russia and China? Have you practiced law there?
Go on, do show us some examples of what you claim. I am really interested to know about some cases that went the way you claim. Go on, don't hold back. You made the accusation, you deliver the links to support your claim.

I suppose you could bring back the old Serbian justice method
1. Evidence-Albanian
2. Verdict-Guilty
Case closed.

You have just described the Albanian system. That's why so many Serbian returnees are bashed, old people murdered and cemeteries vandalized. Even the dead are guilty if they are Serbs.

So what? Did you ever hear of the idea of 'independence of justice'?
(Top, 2 February 2011 19:12)
--
Read again Top, this is about incompetence and not "independence of justice". So the independent EULEX judge, lets say legitimately, threw out evidence because the EULEX prosecution presented evidence they obtained without a warrant. Great, evidence gone and no-one cares. You'd think the prosecution would be familiar with the way things work right? But perhaps they aren't incompetent at all and they are just following normal procedure of the joint criminal enterprise?

(Zoran, 2 February 2011 18:14)

So what? Did you ever hear of the idea of 'independence of justice'? One of the basic democratic principles! It means judges are independent from the state! The state prosecutors do their jobs, the judges do their jobs, and both are totally independent from each other.
The same goes for the fact that proofs or evidence which has been gained illegally (for example the police wiretapping phones without a judicial allowance, or even confessions by a suspect who hasn't been informed about his right not to say anything that could incriminate himself) cannot be used.

Read my comment again. It's about incompetence. A EULEX judge throwing out evidence presented by the EULEX prosecution. The joint criminal enterprise working together to remove evidence. It all sounds very familiar to the NATO court in the Hague (aka ICTY). You know, destroy evidence, call it inadmissible, it doesn't really matter so long as it is not presented.

I think Marty knows the game very well and will avoid dealing with the joint criminal enterprise.

Years of investigations, the organ-harvesting issue of paramount concern in Kosovo, and a Eulex judge decides to throw out evidence because of a warrant, a technicality, in the Medicus case - this is why Eulex cannot be allowed to be a part of Marty's allegations - too much is at stake to allow "another" techicality to white wash charges in this heinous matter. Clearly, an unbiased, independent body must be established to investigate and prosecute in this matter (KLA organ-harvesting), and definitely outside of Kosovo.

As the whole place is corrupt from head to toe- and illegitimate according to the UN what defines legal?

This is a sign of how the Albanian friendly Eulex judges will deal with any anti Albanian evidence put before them.

It all looks a bit incompetent to me. A EULEX judge throwing out evidence presented by EULEX prosecutors. Is the defence lawyer from EULEX also?

Marty will do well steering clear of these goons.
