Đoković in Aussie Open final after beating Federer

Serbia's Novak Đoković has reached the final of this year's the Australian Open Tennis Championships.

I watched the game. Novak looks strong, better than he's looked for quite some time. Particularly happy with the first service these days.

With Federer on the decline (only slowly, lets not get carried away, he is still v good) and Nadal injured now is the time for Novak to step up. The great thing is that changes of this type take time - if you come from nowhere, chances are you will disappear back there quite quickly. We see that with the women's game best. Nole has been a top 5 player for years now and has held the number 3 spot for quite some time.

The biggest threat to Novak's plans is Andy Murray who has a great game, but is inconsistent.

Yes I do love tennis. And Novak is just such a cool guy, only a mean spirited person wouldn't like him.
