@ Kosova-USA - The fact that evidence was destroyed and they came up empty handed even though there was a strong case is sure to be part of the investigation this time around.

One of the most important things now is to create a witness protection program. Watch how many people come out of the woodwork when that happens.

I can understand that many many ethnic Albanians live in fear now but hopefully that will soon change.

The week is over PRN and no recognition. I have to admit that your "predictions" are consistently wrong. I was waiting for a quick succession of recognitions but when I read your statement above I had doubts it would occur knowing your reputation for getting things wrong.

You always shout "Innocent", if an Albanian is accused of anything, without waiting to hear the evidence - as in this organ-harvesting case. I wouldn't dismiss the organ trafficking crimes outright because it is well known Albanians have been doing this to themselves for a long time but how much evidence is left of Serbians organ harvesting is unknown. I suspect a lot of it will come from witness testimonies.

I do agree that once the can of worms is opened then the investigators cannot simply contain the scope to organ trafficking/harvesting. It will expose the Albanian mafia and their drug, people and organ trafficking to name a few. This is good for the region and anyone who doesn't support it should hang their head in shame.

I think albanians want an investigation into these claims more than anyone else. Personally I believe that the organ removal allegations are false - not because of some belief that we albanians are angels and we would never hurt serbs - but because no credible evidence has been found or presented yet. If there was, we would have heard about it by now - if not from Marty, certainly from his source i.e. the serbian prosecution office.

In my opinion, this report had a political goal, which it achieved to a large degree by creating a 'black cloud' over Kosovo which will remain there, even after the investigations come back with nothing.

What Marty has cleverly done is that he has merged the horrible organ removal /war crimes accusations with lesser ones regarding criminal involvement and corruption after the war. And this makes it difficult for Thaqi and others accused to invited a full international investigation because, whilst they will be cleared of the war crimes accussation, they will most likely be found involved in criminal activity / corruption. And this will also be the end of their political careers.
