I agree, Leonidas.

Also the enquiry never asks the real questions like where is the link between Iraq and Sept 11th that Blair uses as an important turning point?

And since when was it legal for any nation to invade another to force so-called regime change? Especially without any legality by the UN Security Council?

Pin him down without his pre-prepared answers and then send him and his posse to the Hague, including that odious Campbell. While they are there they can also answer to the crimes committed against Serbia.

In the latter, there was a clear attempt to dehumanise an entire nation of people. Somebody needs to answer for that as well.

Former diplomats, government officials and ministers have said at the inquiry that Blair and then-US President George W. Bush had "converged" on "regime change" in Iraq, and did not allow diplomacy to run its full course prior to the invasion.

It was pretty obvious to anyone from the outset the invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with WMDs or international law but everything to do with oil and manifestation of US power in that part of the world.

It was also pretty clear from the start that Chilcot has been about finding nothing and covering-up anything and everything.
Such inquiries are created to maintain the illusion of democracy. The truth is the corrupt British political establishment would never have allowed the people to get to the bottom of the Iraq war.No wonder the inquiry has decided to keep secret the correspondence
between Bush and Blair.

Therefore, the UK goverment again is wasting time and taxpayers money on an issue that needs to be addressed at the international court in Hague. The Chilcot inqury as well as the Hutton and Butler before are all just different shades of whitewash. It would seem that there is more honour among thieves than there is in the "elite" who have been appointed to hide the crime.
