Demi, the Serbs in N. Kosovo also want to be independent of Albanian control. They do not want another murdering, organ-harvesting KLAer like Thaci to come by again. Why should Albanians have independence, and the northern Serbs in KiM not?

You will never, ever, be 'independent'. Kosovo is sovereign Serbian land, and it is a privilege for you to be occupying it (although this is temporary). Enjoy it while it lasts. We Serbs know what is ours and we are not giving an inch.'

As per historical agreement, I agree with you, but if it is to be fair it should hurt you. There are OVER 5m Albanians in Turkey that are actually waiting to fill the territories of their grandfather who were ethnically cleansed by Serbian terrorists. Many EVEN have the papers (in Turkish, written in Arabic letter) that own lands in Nis, up to Alexinac.

As per independence of Kosovo, there will never be an agenda about that, as Kosovo independence is insufficient for Albanians to reach what you call the historical agreements.

With Albanians you can reache an historical agreement ONLY when original Albania gets back the stolen land to border Croatia,Bosnia and Bulgaria, as we were always their first neighbour.

And YES you(Serbia/serbs) will come to that point when EU will request you to recognize Kosovo if you want to be an EU-member. And we all know what Serbia will do. Be a part of Russia ? NO, Tadic will recognize Kosovo for EU and that will be a very good choice.

Leave Kosovo and it's people alone Mr.Dacic. They don't want nothing to do with you.

So before, it was Holland won't ratify the SAA because of Mladic. But now the truth finally comes out. If Serbs are stupid enough to vote for the DS again, they don't deserve Kosovo. Even if there's no effective or trustworthy opposition, anything has to be better than this.

I'm glad this is finally coming out and exposing the flawed policies of this DS-led government. There is an alternative to EU membership and Serbian citizens are realising that more and more with support for EU membership on the decrease. The stench of the rotting carrot is getting a bit too much.

Maybe this guy is right.

I think K-Alb should have accepted the substantial autonomy. The only particular condition would have been the existence of a K-Alb army.... so K-Alb can protect themselves from Serbia.

With some 20%+ of the votes in Serbia K-Alb could command a lot of power in Serbian politics. Further that % would only increase in the future as we all know the population of Serbia is shrinking.

In 50 yrs or so K-Alb would have taken over Serbia, simply by sheer popular vote.

I am sure you can mark the next year and 10 yrs off your calendar though. But in 100 years, the number of countries will probably be greatly reduced and both Kosovo and Serbia will be a subset of a greater entity.
