But there are the reruns... How many times has Law & Order (Original Version, Criminal Intent, SVU, Los Angeles, Parking Violations Unit ...) done shows with a Serbian villain from those days? Or at least a picture of Karadzic on the wall to be pointed to as "a famous war criminal"? And these shows repeat, sometimes multiple times daily, for decades...

Notice that he witnessed this back in '92 which was the first year of the war and it was in Bosnia. This shows how Croat officers were dipping into Bosnia at the beginning of the war.
The mainstream media ignored the ethnic cleansing of the Serb population which started at the very beginning of the wars (if not a bit before).
And Serb reports of rape and death/torture camps sent to the UN Security Council were ignored by the press and the internationals as well - except to use the Serb testimony to write parallel fake reports on behalf of the Muslims and Croats against Serbs.

I've read "testimony" from non-Serbs that was exact copy of what Serbs sent to the UN - very specific things which often were out of place for the non-Serb witnesses and show they were telling lies.

The UN peacekeepers are soldiers just like everyone else. If you can't handle a little blood why the hell are you serving in the armed forces. What did you think you were going to serve in BiH sit on your bums all day and recieve a high salary drinking moonshine and eating roasted pork all day, I don't think so..All of a sudden this soldier wants to claim componsation for the distress, get over it mate, if every Croat and Serb had to claim distress from what they witnessed both countries would be broke. I would suggest to countries in the near future requseting UN protection do not allow the Dutch anywhere near your county, they're more trouble then there worth.

You won't see it on TV because a lot of the public interest has long since moved on.

I've never been one to believe in the existence of any inherent bias against Serbs on the part of the world community. I think rather that the Serbs failed to manage their public image at a critical time (the outbreak of war in the 90s).

We're all familiar with the famous expression "there's only once chance to make a first impression" -- well, for many people of the world, their first introduction to Serbs came via images of Vukovar, Dubrovnik and Sarajevo. I suspect that, prior to that, most people only knew Serbs, Croats, Slovenes, etc to be "Yugoslavs".

Perhaps more skillful politicians would have meant much better public relations for Serbs. Intelligent though they might have been (in some cases, at least), guys like Milosevic, Karadzic, Babic, Hadzic, Martic and Bulatovic were seriously flawed.

The peacekeeper recalled scenes of murder, torture and beatings in death camps, the deportation of Serb civilians, and Gotovina, who he said commanded some of the towns where the crimes took places.

The Croatian general is on trial for war crimes against Serbs during and after the 1995 Operation Storm, along with two other Croatian generals, Ivan Čermak and Mladen Markač.

Regarding the Cro-Serb lawsuit,I hear Serbia is consulting and negotiating with Alan Dershowitz, Nazism's worst nightmare--the lawyer that brought the Catholic Church's Nazi protectors to their knees.

Excellent choice I might add, if not the best. But still, never fully trust an American lawyer when America might have much at stake.

The Croats should get the famous American lawyer F.Lee Bailey.
Anybody that still believes that O.J. Simpson did not commit the crimes for which he stood trial would be a shoe-in for the Croats.

The truth always comes out, it may take a long time, but it always reveals itself. The truth about the Bosnian and Kosovo wars are trickling out, showing proof that the one-side accusation about Serbia was a well planned and orchestrated propaganda effort to demonize the Serbian people. Wonder what the real truth is about Srebrenica?
