It would be very helpful if our family members could come and visit without having to submit a ton of document and pay 90 euros for the privilege, not to mention the hassle of travelling to Belgrade for people living elsewhere in Serbia and the extortion prices of plane tickets because Serbia is not EU. I have lived in UK (worked, paid taxes etc.) for more than 5 years and my parents haven't been to visit yet because the whole procedure is too complicated especially for the computer illiterate elderly people who do not speak English, so we have to travel twice a year with little kids to see them. They do not want to immigrate, just to see their grandchildren more often...

The problem is not with slav immigrants but rather albanian, African and middle eastern immigrants! The slavs work, the others sponge from the state and bring no value to the state.

That is a very ignorant thing to say. Serbian people require visas to visit family, come over as tourists, or arrange business trips. What makes you think that they are all potential immigrants? Most of them are hardworking people who have no intention of staying in the UK.

At the moment, Serbian people have to pay a large amount of money for a visa and wait for a considerable time until it is approved. This makes business trips in particular very difficult.

You seem to think that all 'Slav' visitors to the UK are lorry hopping asylum seekers. Enough with the xenophobia; many of these people boost our economy and society.

Although there should be tight controls, they should be reasonable and encourage visits, business trips or immigration of hardworking, skilled, honest people from anywhere in the world.

Besides which, speaking as an English person, our country has really been going downhill and is full of miserable uneducated gits stuffed up by a false sense of superiority. It's embarrassing how we are portrayed in the world.

I am always very relieved when I come across good, normal, sane, thinking Brits on this forum who give me hope that we can all climb back uphill again and change for the better. People like Dave, UK and Winston (who I think is English).

Enough of the Third Way crappy nonsense, US brown nosing and small island thinking... some of us want to move forward.

Besides which, isn't Northampton a lorry hopping hotspot? Perhaps that's what's making you feel particularly bitter. Didn't you say that you yourself were a refugee on another thread? Is it a case of 'close the door...'?

What does this have to do with immigration? It's all about visa free TRAVEL to the UK, so you can relax a bit...

I would be more concerned about the hordes of Brits moving over here to Canada instead. Their the ones really hurting your 'Britain for Brits' campain.
