If they make this clown a saint then my cat is next on the list.

What miracle did he perform? He only hid peodophiles in the Catholic Church and demanded that Bill Clinton bomb Serbs. Hope he enjoys the hot weather down there.

I love Pope John Paul. He was the Pope during most of my adult life - a man that was made Pope while my father was still alive. I remember traveling through Europe when he was about to be sworn in as Papa. God bless his soul, and whatever high level his memory can achieve in the Catholic, may he acquire it. God bless you Pope John Paul, I love you forever.

I wonder: are they are already hard at work at staging that second "miracle"?

I wonder, too, about Benedict fast-tracking him to sainthood. Hmmm...a feel-good story to divert attention from all the bad press over the past DECADE?

Or perhaps an attempt to create the illusion that the Holy See couldn't possibly have had any involvement in all of these dispicable scandals (ie, if not the last pope, then certainly not this one)?

B92, any chance you could send some of your reporters out to get quotes from some independent Parkinson's specialists? I know that finding "independent" sources could be tough given that both Christianity and religious conflict exists just about everywhere in the world, but I'd be willing to bet there are a few good doctors out there who don't have a dog in this fight.
