Is that why a bunch of cavemen in Afghanistan are kicking the backside of the most advanced killing machine we've seen (NATO)?
(Zoran, 14 January 2011 10:06)

That was my point that is the most advanced machine… thanks for confirming. As for the rest, I’ve not seen what you’re saying. At least the number of casualties does not say that. It’s hard to find other examples in history with so few casualties in proportion to the amount of troops involved.

If you didn't get the message of the video, I'll tell you directly. China values sovereignty and territorial integrity more than anything and "Kosova" will never gain international legitimacy.
(Zoran, 14 January 2011 10:06)

I got the message of the video but did not get what does it have to do with Kosovo (it’s probably more related to Mars exploration than Kosovo).

What does “China values sovereignty and territorial integrity more than anything” have to do with “"Kosova" will never gain international legitimacy”. You did not explain the logical connection. I can’t see any, but would love to hear what your logic says.

You can keep getting insignificant recognitions but you won't get the ones that count.
(Zoran, 14 January 2011 10:06)

I don’t need any recognition; Kosovo may need. In any case, the ones who count for them, they have them already. China or Lesotho may count for Serbia, but who cares about what’s important for Serbia.

Sooner or later recognitions will fizzle out and then start reversing. If you get a quick lot in succession against negative fundamentals (like now), that could very well indicate the end. It's the way the markets work when the bubble busts.
(Zoran, 14 January 2011 10:06)

We have no proof of that, but let us know if and when that happens if we are still around by then.

The neo cons in the american government mike like you but I really doubt the american people like, you after three albanian brothers from Kosovo tried to kill as many american servicemen as they could at fort Dix.
(Dragoslav, 14 January 2011)

You can doubt all you want but I've lived and worked here for 16 years now and never in my life have I felt anything remotely to your wishful thinking even after Fort Dix. I can assure you most Americans are not racists like the Europeans. This Serb lady I used to work with when I firts met her told me she was from Jugoslavija and only after I asked where from Yugoslavija did she tell me she was from Serbia.
When I decided to pursue my higher education in the West, I specifically ruled out Europe becuase of their xenophoiba and instead decided to come to America. That's why most Albanians choose to immigrate to the US or Canada. The less unfortunate settle for Europe which can go to hell for all I care.

Is not parades or manpower that wins the wars today, but equipment and technology. We are in the 21st century, not in the 18th with the mass armies of Napoleon.

It's not a matter of principled position (such a thing does not exist in international relations).

Highduke explained it very well. So, I guess, I can just cite him/her without further comment:

No.

As long as it has protectorate status it can carry on pretending.

Once protectorate status goes, the end will come quickly.

It will fizzle for a while, try to join Albania, and then fall.

… or not so much fall; it will fester in a heap.

Protectorate status is the only hope to keep the 'a' on the end of Kosova.

Spain is an encouraging bright light that shows that not all world governments are weak, and buckle under pressure, or bribes and threats, from more powerful countries. Viva Espana!

Well, thank you Guinea Bissau for recognizing Kosovo today. Spain will do so later...we know it, they know it, everyone knows it, including Jeremic.

74+ more on the way. I wonder if Vuk's trip bring this one today???

Reminds me of someone I did see in an other forum. Unfortunate soul came to womanize - but was thrown out by girls in every single country on Balkans. He got the same opinion, but I am not sure what was first: the egg or the chicken.

I laughed. Then I showed the post for my collegues and they were crying with laugh. "plus Albanians are not well seen in Madrid". This must be the understatement of a decade. luigi, please tell me ONE place on earth where Albanians are "wel seen". Collegues is that what you call them, we use to call them Drinking Buddies, where everyone agreed with who was buying the next round. It was a good way to make someone feel important.

The less unfortunate settle for Europe which can go to hell for all I care.

jesus...this kid, Agim Kelmendi, he´s not getting tired to spread his helpless paroles...

Agim, don´t you realize that those little pacific islands whose name almost nobody has ever heard of do not really have some particular importance.... while Spain... well, I believe it makes no sense to even try to explain that to you...

go on with your celebrations... =) that will stop, sooner than later.

and you still don´t see that the number of little islands depending on the US is limited.

well... perhaps in the end you might be only just another one of these paid propaganda-writers...

then your behavioural pattern would make sense...

but if not, you´d only make a fool of yourself...

Kosovo as a state?

(Zoran, 13 January 2011 23:03)

Yeah, precisely... a very dead issue for Serbia.

Now speaking about the unrelated (to the Kosovo issue) video, "disicplined armies" are demonstrated in action, not in parades like the one in the video :) Those are for internal consumption...

Is not parades or manpower that wins the wars today, but equipment and technology. We are in the 21st century, not in the 18th with the mass armies of Napoleon.

Spain wont budge contrary to Albanian dreams bc at least a quarter of Spain could seperate from Madrid since the Spanish are not a unified ethnic group at all

A century certainly after 1389, so for a number of Serbs still way beyond the future.

Is that why a bunch of cavemen in Afghanistan are kicking the backside of the most advanced killing machine we've seen (NATO)?

If you didn't get the message of the video, I'll tell you directly. China values sovereignty and territorial integrity more than anything and "Kosova" will never gain international legitimacy.

You can keep getting insignificant recognitions but you won't get the ones that count. Sooner or later recognitions will fizzle out and then start reversing. If you get a quick lot in succession against negative fundamentals (like now), that could very well indicate the end. It's the way the markets work when the bubble busts.

It's not a matter of principled position (such a thing does not exist in international relations).

Highduke explained it very well. So, I guess, I can just cite him/her without further comment:

Spain wont budge contrary to Albanian dreams bc at least a quarter of Spain could seperate from Madrid since the Spanish are not a unified ethnic group at all
